James Brett 100% Acrylic Baby Double Knitting Yarn Supersoft DK Knit Wool 100g (Baby Pink - BB6)

I like to use James Brett Supersoft Baby DK yarn when possible and ordered this online. A bit disappointed as it is not as soft and cuddly as usual. It knits up firmer and more matted. I have checked the ball bands and note that an old one I had was made in the UK but it is not stated on the new ball bands where it is manufactured. Excellent match in colour but not in texture. I also found the same with the white that I ordered, inconsistencies in quality. Checked with James Brett and they said that yarn is no longer sourced in the UK.

Arrived on time. The colour is lovely, some mint greens have bordered on more like a lime green. The wool is easy to work with and doesn't shed fluff. It is not as supersoft as others I have bought, but is still soft enough for a baby. I would recommend.

Very good quality wool. Amazed that two rolls came through the letterbox, vacuum packed and almost flat. Got it out of the pack and it was back to normal within minutes.

I love the colour of this yarn & have already knitted a beautiful baby blanket with some of it. Still to decide what to knit next but I know it will knit up well!

It’s soft but would have liked it a bit more as it is for a baby but nice all the same. Great value have not knitted with it yet but like it so far

I am knitting a baby blanket and coat and boots for new baby due September the wool feels so soft to knit with hope my friend likes it for her new baby

I bought this to knit a baby cardigan for my expected baby grandson, it knitted up lovely and is soft and durable. The colour is gorgeous too.
