M43 Tunics of the German Heer in Field Grey wool.These tunics are detailed reproductions of the M43s worn by Troops in the German Heer during WW2. They have been developed directly from an original, and have a much higher wool content than the majority of other reproductions. The 80% wool manufacture gives the tunic a much more authentic feel when worn, making these some of the best repros around.The M43 Tunic itself was first seen in mid-1943, and by the following year they were the most commonly worn uniform by German troops. Their introduction was largely due to the need to simplify their uniform design, as time and material became expensive resources. This is seen through certain details, such as pleats no longer being added to the pockets.The tunics have the correctly buttoned front, and come with the white piped shoulder boards of the infantry as standard.High quality M43 tunics in Field Grey.

Great historical accuracy
I bought this so I could complement my pants.I love the historical accuracy of this.Went to my tailor to get it sewed and he wanted to "fix" it, and after reviewing the original model, we found out the pockets were originally that way.I love it and it's very comfortable.Fitted just as I expected.Would recommend visiting their web page just to get the sizes well.

Good quality size is not that clear and measurement are not helpful. I bought it twice to catch the correct size and the return was a bit complicated.

Sizing is for someone greater than 6’2”, poor quality tailoring
Epic Militaria has the highest quality reproductions on the market. The workmanship on the German M43 tunic, color, fabric and sewing on this jacket is excellent....BUT. This jacket made in India is very mis-sized. I am a 44 Regular and 5’10”, this jacket is cut for someone at least 6’2” or taller. The arms are 2.5” too long. The body 3”! I contacted Epic and they confirmed I didn’t get an odd ball defect. This is their normal 44 regular size. So unless you are 6’1” or taller take a pass. Show less feedback detailsless
