Bored with traditinal fitness equipment? Try the Slide Board!
It was exactly as advertised and playing on it is good exercise while also being tons of fun. I set it up and at first, just did the side glides while watching TV commercials. I enjoy building up endurance. It arrived quickly with all parts and an information booklet. Wouldn't work for a really tall person or professional speed skater regarding slide length, but I have to work at it as would the average individual. Good buy.

Great Customer Service! Thanks Again!
Shipping was quick, and on time as promised. I loved the obsidian slide board right out of the box. Downloading the digital videos, were easy. After the second use, the plastic end pieces cracked. I contacted the seller, and they immediately sent a replacement. That's what I call Great Customer Service! And now, I am on my way to another great workout ! Thank you !

The ONE thing it's supposed to be - it ain't (slippery)
Pros:1. It's more compact than some others:** It will roll up and set in a corner out of your wayCons:1. The surface is NOT slippery:** I have tested several other boards and they were slippery from the start** Silicone lubricant doesn't seem to remedy this.** Good old Pledge furniture polish works quite well.*** My solution:****1. Spray a spot toward the left end of the sliding surface;****2. Spread it around with your foot while wearing your included slip-ons****3. Do the same on the right****4. Enjoy2. The product does not feel rugged or durable:** The end pieces are (brittle) plastic held to the board by bolts.** A user with a heavy step might challenge their integrity.3. I kept catching my feet in the gap under these end pieces:** If the end pieces curl up (very likely), you may slip under them thus slowing you down.** As the manual recommends, roll it up with the slippery side out after each useIMHO;* these are items are things you really shouldn't have to deal with* however, once remedied (and if you are careful) you should quite a few years from this* there are other boards with more integrity/ durability, but they have their issues as well.

Nice and fun
I had one similar to this years ago and I loved it. It really is a good workout, but this one doesn't seem like it's going to last. It has a foam underneath it maybe so it doesn't slide on the floor as you slide but that will eventually create indentations overtime and then you will not slide as easily. I wouldn't say it was worth the money. It seems like you could go to Home Depot and get some shower wall to make your own slip and slide.

False Advertising: Don't Order the 6' Foot Slide
Apparently, the 5' Foot Slide comes with workout DVDs and the 6' Foot is supposed to come with a Promo Code to download free workout Apps, but it doesn't! I have asked the manufacturer and notified the seller but I haven't received any replies. It took longer to get here than advertised, so I hate to have to go through the whole ordering, shipping and returning process again (and trying to social distance at the postal center to return the item). False Advertising, No Communication

6 ft board good for 9 year old hockey player
My kids love this. My almost 11 year old has just about outgrown (he hits the edge with each stride) the 6 ft board (hockey player) -- the 6 ft length is perfect for my almost 9 year old (57 in - 80 pounds) -- it works great for now -- they said it's very similar to skating -- I see us getting the 10 ft board when they're older

Loved it until it broke
I’ve had the slide board for 3 months, and enjoy this exercise option, especially during a pandemic. The board was working pretty well, though it slides around on the floor more than it should. Unfortunately, the board cracked where the guardrails are attached. I had to return it. I also contacted the Obsidian Company about a replacement. They told me that they had a problem with a third party vendor (which is why it's no longer available here). They said they are designing a new model that should be more durable.

Well designed/easy to use and transport
My doctor recommended I start using the slide board to strengthen my knees. I chose this board after reading others reviews. The board stays slick. I found many helpful classes on You Tube; I did not sign up for the monthly ones the company offers. My only disappointment- it came with 3 booties- missing one small bootie.
