I was so disappointed! I understand it was not an expensive item
I was so disappointed! I understand it was not an expensive item, however, the pictures I saw on site indicated it needed a regular battery when it in fact needed a tiny watch battery. Additionally, it took upwards of 8 weeks to deliver (yes, I know it came from China), but then when I finally got the battery I needed....the temperatures were incredibly inaccurate. I make homemade cheese and this caused me to burn multiple recipes. I would've returned it but it was so inexepensive I just pitched it.

Well made thermometer.
Love this thermometer. It's compact so I don't have to worry about anyone getting stabbed while they are looking for things in the utensil drawer. I've checked the readings against other thermometers and it's very accurate. Wide range of temperature measurement. Not just for meat and cooking.

Not sure of accuracy
I keep trying this to test the doneness of burgers and chicken, but wonder if its accurate. By the time the thermometer tells me the burger is rare, its well-done.

Takes a little while for it to reach a steady temperature, but that's my fault because I though I was getting an instant read thermometer, but this one is obviously not. Temperature read is accurate though if that's what you're looking for. It just takes about 10-15 seconds.

Poor Quality
Lasted less than a year (used it 5-6 times) then it crapped-out on me. Piece of junk!

Good but not great.
Works great but it's not as quick as the product description says it is. I do like the way it folds up and it's easy to hold and use. The automatic shutdown is nice too.

Having some issues with it after only a few uses ...
Having some issues with it after only a few uses with it not being as "instant" as it was when I got it. Have to turn off/on/off/on ect and then it starts to work.

i like it because it's longer and easier to red for me. It's far from an instant read. it avgs 11 seconds, at least I don't burn myself waiting for the reading.
