I bought my first and only pair of these around the summer of 2007. After 13 years, the toe straps finally gave. My brother has blown through about 7 pairs of rainbows in the time I’ve owned these sandals. I’m not sure what type of synthetic materials the soles are made out of but they are tough as nails. I cant tell you how many miles I’ve walked in these but I’m pretty sure the Proclaimers wrote a famous song about it. Can not beat the quality of these especially for the price. I’ll wear these literally for the rest of my life if they aren’t discontinued.

Very rarely do I write product reviews on Amazon but this time I couldn't help myself.Since my youth I have been linked to all kinds of marine, beach and outdoor activities. (I am currently 66) Quicksilver has been a brand that has been with me for many years because of its quality. I bought my last beach sandals during a trip to Australia on 2013 and after many “miles” of walking I had to find a replacement. I trusted what I have known about the brand for so many years and I trusted what Amazon publishes as rates, however , without a minimal doubt, THIS PRODUCT IS JUST THAT: GARBAGE. It is so cheap and of such poor quality that I would even be embarrassed to give it to a indigent person. I wouldn't give 5 bucks for what I received as Quicksilver sandals. Among other quality features, the REAL Quicksilver sandals have an internal supporting steel plate to reinforce the arch of the foot and give stability to the sandal, the tip of that sheet can be seen under the sandals sole and constitutes an important support. The rubber sole of the true sandals is soft on the upper part with an anti-slip finish, it has a well-designed grooves to guarantee good traction on the lower part of the sole. .Sadly, however, what I received was a piece of cheap rubber cut into the shape of a narrow foot that is not up to size and cheap straps that tighten too. This CHINA-made product looks designed for a Chinese foot but not a Westerner. I wear 10 ½ and bought 12 (the same as in Australia) and my feet almost do not fit in the sandal.This that Amazon sent me as a Quicksilver product is really an insult to the brand. It is a shame and a deception. Don't throw your money away. Go to a serious beach store that offers name brand products and check before you buy.Unfortunately I am abroad and it is not possible for me to return the product but I will give it to a poor child who walks barefoot and I would not be surprised if he rejects it because of the quality.

First wearing got them wet while watering the yard and they left stains across both insteps that was hard to scrub off. Amazon, as always, made the refund painless and quick.

If you want your feet stained blue in the area where the thong part touches, these are the sandals for you! It's like a got a free temporary tattoo...but it isn't washing off. Maybe you should ensure the extra dye is washed out Quiksilver. Ugh now I look like an idiot right before I'm heading to a pool party. Come to think of it, I'm an idiot for not reading that one guys review before buying these.

This is my 3rd pair and each last me about 2 years. Got tired of spending a ton of money on flaps that stained my feet. I wear these everyday. I do not mean I just wear them, I mean I wear them as they were shoes. I: Mowed grass, edged my grass, cleaned the garage, washed the truck, changed the entire front suspension, twice, on my vehicle, did oil changes, traveled, walked countless miles, rode my mountain bike and pit bike, ran, coached soccer teams, walked the beach, hiked, moved a house, drank countless beers, swam and not once have I ever had a blister or shore feet. I think my pictures will tell you how much I've worn these. I wore my last pair until the thong wore completely from the bottom. I was smarter this time. I will continue to wear my old ones until they break. Bottom line, nothing compares to quality and price. These in my opinion are these best out there. For note: My shoe size is a 10.5 and I buy 11. I like my toes to touch the front edge and the heel to touch the back.

2 years ago, my siblings bought me this one specifically as a gift because my previous one of a different brand broke after 5 years. Now I bought a second pair because I’m planning to have one for inside the house and the second one for outside. That’s how much I like these. 2 years and is still going strong and my second pair of a few months now is still good too. Will buy again and again. Good quality for the price and durable. Doesn’t hurt or causes friction burns. I used them basically for everything and weekly unless I go out for dinner or special occasions where I require to wear a more formal or elegant shoes.

I used a pair for near-daily indoor & outdoor use, mostly on wood and tile floors, but sometimes on asphalt, concrete, or beach sand.Sadly after almost 6 years, the bottom layer started peeling off and rendered them unwearable for safety reasons. I think that’s a very reasonable lifespan.Still, these are the most comfortable flip flops I’ve worn, much better than cheap ones with plastic straps or rubbery textures. I’ve been very happy with them and have purchased a pair to replace them already.

I’ve been ordering these every summer for the past 6 years (when I moved to the NC coast). It’s about the only thing I wear on my feet unless I’m working in the yard or going somewhere that calls for a better shoe choice. I keep my older ones for using when I’m going out around the pool or just need to slip something on to go to the mailbox.

I usually get Animal flip flops but I saw these and they were cheaper and looked good. They take some time to wear in - when you first put them on, your feet are a long way back on the flip flop with lots of space at the toe and possible heel overhang. After a couple of wears, the straps soften, your foot will move forward and they're a decent, true to size fit. Your feet are sitting on a hard plastic surface though so they're a bit sweaty compared with my usual ones.They're OK and they look nice but I wouldn't buy them again.

This is my second pair as have home abroud. Really comfortable, I ware walking shoes for many KMs per day letting my feet breath while not walking is essencial. These flip flops are great for flip flop virgins No rubbing toes or blisters

Lovely and comfy.Not too much flip and not too much flop.Can wear all day and walk around without getting that annoying rubbing in between your toes that you get with some flip flops.Paired perfectly with a pair of Adidas sporting socks and flamingo shorts to annoy / embarrass my family while on holiday.

Initially i was a little disappointed when i recieved them as they didn't have the same look or feel as i'd assmumed from the pictures online, but then again shopping for clothes via the internet is always going to be a gamble and i'm quite fussy when it comes to clothes. Gladly however after putting these sandals through their paces on holiday in spain across sand beaches, stone beaches and long walks on the pavment i've really grown fond of them and they are if anything very durable. On the minus the ink does wear off on your feet but nothing a shower won't fix.

Bought my usual shoe size (8) and they fit perfectly. The sole is rubber and so even after a full summer of use there is still plenty of life in them which for me represents good value for money. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again.
