Excellent for Head Shaving – Smooth, Close, and Comfortable
I bought the Remington XR1500 specifically to shave my head, and I couldn't be happier with it. It gives a really close shave — and does so without any irritation or razor burn. The rotary heads glide effortlessly over the shape of my skull, even around tricky areas like behind the ears and along the base of the neck. It’s lightweight, easy to grip, and the flexible design makes it ideal for head shaving. Cleaning is quick and straightforward, and the battery lasts long enough to get a few shaves in before needing a recharge. If you're looking for something that handles head shaving with ease and leaves a clean, professional finish, this is a fantastic choice.Highly recommended – 5 stars for comfort, results, and ease of use.

The Best Head Shaver
Got this today and used it for the first time, and it's the best head shaver I've ever used. I have had three different Chinese made head shavers and they have all let me down, two cheap ones bought here on Amazon and an expensive one direct from the manufacturer, these shavers have all stopped working within three shaves, just junk. This Remington RX5 was double the price of the cheaper shavers I have had but just half the price of a big named brand and out performs them all by a country mile. It runs quietly, trims close and fast, feels of excellent quality and is so easy to clean, I have taken to it right away. The look and feel of the shaver is top notch and the zipped pouch is very handy. The only downside is it only comes with a European plug but I have ordered a USB charging lead which will be here tomorrow at the cost of just over a fiver. When looking to buy what is my fourth head shaver I looked on Google for reviews and they are deceptively misleading. When searching all that was coming up was top 5 or top 10 listing's for the best head shavers and they all seemed to be staged to get you to buy a specific shaver, none of the lists had a concensus among 5 or so brands, all items were different across all the lists. Luckily I came across a Mens Health Magazine review which seemed to be unbiased and the Remington RX5 topped it and was highly recommended, as this source seemed trustworthy I bought this item and it's perfect for my needs, no more junk. Thank you Mens Health Magazine and Remington.

Great head shaver not so great face shaver
I got this a couple of months ago to replace a cheaper Chinese jobby that was on its way out, straight out the box you could tell the improvement in quality and materials. After using it everyday (sometimes every other if I'm being lazy) I must say in general this is a great bit of kit it's easy to use and after a bit of adjustment time as the grip is different from my previous one and you can't hold it between the head and the battery in-between your fingers but actually grip the battery unit it's really comfy too. It cuts quickly and close and super easy to clean with good battery life I've only had to charge it a couple of times. My only issue is the first time I used it I went to do my face and neck like normal but unfortunately it didn't cut very well and I came out in razor burn all over my neck so now I have to keep my old one just for that, I can't be too hard on it though as it's not advertised to be used like that and I appreciate everyone's skin is different but it just would have been nice to only need one shaver. Would definitely recommend though especially as it's not that much more than some of the low quality Chinese ones like I had previously.

Easy to use
Kept my hair really short at the back, sides - balding on top. Bit apprehensive about shaving it all off, but decided to just do it. After all only hair it will grow back, or it won't, if I don't like it. Read reviews on various bits of kit for doing this, and decided on the Remington RX5. One of the reasons, brand name I have to say, Remington has been around a long time. And I have had Remington stuff in the past and it has always lasted. I tend to stay a bit brand loyal, until I have reason not to.So I purchased this and I have to say, going completely bald for the first time was surprisingly easy. At least with this RX5. Hair was short anyway, 0.5mm. Blitzed it with the RX5 in a couple of minutes, put some moisturising stuff on my head after. And fine I don't mind the all-bald look. I think if your hair is departing, unless you want to spend a lot of money trying to hold onto it, blitzing it is the best way to go.Used the RX5 three times so far since purchase, only charged it once. I reckon the frequency will depend on the user. I don't mind it showing a bit of kind of shadow hair, outline sort of thing. My hair is light anyway, so I can go four/five days if not a little longer. Probably somebody with really dark hair, be three days or less before you would need to do it again.RX5 easy to use, easy to clean. When using, you can kind of feel the areas that need to be done almost through the vibration in a way in your hand. It is sort of has a different feel when it is cutting to when it is going over a smooth area. Hard to explain to anybody that hasn't used it.Good results, perhaps not as close a shave as an actual razor. But if you have ever used an electric razor vs wet shave, you know what results to expect.Overall pleased with the Remington RX5. Nice feel in the hand, does the job well. Close enough shave for me. And I find it a lot easier than using say hair cutters, with them you always seem to miss spots and stuff. With this and the various blades, it really does catch all areas. And not having hair at all, doesn't feel much different. Just a lot easier to maintain.
