This is a high quality product offering excellent traction on ice. It is an excellent value, well worth the relatively high price. I use these cleats on a very steep asphalt driveway when it is covered with slick ice. They provide impressive traction; i have had zero slips over some days of use....even when using a bulky snowblower. The cleats themselves are replaceable using a 3/8 inch socket. Previous cleats I have used either do not have a replaceable design....or claim they do but in fact they do not hold. I suggest checking each cleat with the socket on receipt to be sure they are tight. Replacement cleats are provided with the overshoe and additional cleats can be separately ordered. What is it worth to be safe? I am not interested in broken hips, thank you. Size-wise: i wear a size 12 Muck boot (Chore model) which just fits the extra large overshoe. I measure the maximum length boot that will fit in extra large as 13 and 3/8 inches. My boots are pretty bulky but a perfect fit. Order your size accordingly. Note that while these overshoes can be removed at any point they are serious tools not designed to be mounted and dismounted from your boots every few hours. Of note, i have not experienced any difficulty with slipperiness on hard, smooth surfaces such as cement...this CAN be a problem with other designs. I am thrilled to have this fine tool. Highly recommend. Of course I have not tried them flyfishing...but with luck that day will come.

These things are impressive and worth every penny, which ultimately is the value of your life when you are standing out there on a wet slick jetty fishing.Follow the sizing chart on the Korkers website for these exactly.For reference, I wear a size 10.5 sneaker (US size), I purchased a new pair of waterproof hiking boots to specifically wear with these korkers and those boots were a 10.5 WIDE (US size) and I wear a size 11 Boot foot wader. I used the Korkers sizing chart which indicates a LARGE and the large was PERFECT and sized correctly.These perfectly fit a wide sized boot as well as a boot foot wader.I used them today and caught fish which means they are now my "lucky" Korkers!

These seem pretty sturdy. I think they'll hold up well. I've used them once so far on some very slippery moss-covered rocks and they really gripped well. As other reviewers mentioned, the straps are really long. After snugging the overshoes onto my boots the first time, the excess strapping just hung loosely. I suppose I could've tucked the strap-ends in somewhere, but I wasn't quite satisfied with that solution. I remedied the "problem" by trimming and then resewing the ends of each strap. First I adjusted the straps to fit my boots snugly. Then, leaving enough length so that each overshoe can still be easily loosened and removed after use, I trimmed several inches off each strap. Then I folded over about an inch of material at the end of each strap and sewed it down with strong polyester thread. The "fold-over" prevents the strap from accidentally slipping through the buckle. They fit perfectly now and with barely any excess strap. It was a simple fix, so no complaints, but because I had to do this, I've rated these 4 out of 5 stars.

I was skeptical of these but tried them out on a place where I normally slip several times while fishing. They worked flawlessly on slick river boulders in a fast moving river. Highly recommend!

I bought these to keep from having to either buy new boots because the bottom was so worn or to keep from continuously replacing the bottoms on my Korkers boot. The cleats are a tight but overall excellent fit--I wear US size 8 boots and bought the medium size cleat. I have thought that my next pair of boots would be a half or one size bigger, so I'm worried about them fitting into these cleats, but the rubber appears that it will stretch well and probably accommodate for maybe a half size bigger. The cleats are strong quality: the rubber is thick, nice straps, and very nice quality cleats. The bottoms are also thick and well made. I can't foresee much happening to these in the future that will make them un-usable--like the bottoms becoming too thin or rubber splitting. I imagine a buckle would break, but they come with two extra buckles. Now I will be able to wear my two pairs of boots until they literally fall apart instead of worrying about the bottoms becoming so thin and losing traction. :) Very happy.

The product looked very impressive, however did not fit my boots despite being in the size range noted for x-large. Also they did not come with the 10 extra cleats and extra strap as stated on the website and the box they came in. I was very disappointed. I must sat it was so easy to return. Just printed out a label and brought to Kohls.

These work better than I ever could have believed. Used them for fly fishing wading on slippery river rock. Traction in my boot foot waders was poor until I strapped on the Korkers. They don't slop around or drag in the water, they just work. Easy to put on and they didn't come loose in three days of fishing. You can buy more expensive stocking foot waders and even more expensive felt sole boots, or you can strap into these steel cleats for a lot less. Highly recommended.

Amazing cleats. I use it for work only and they work great! I use them on the roof in winter time and without them work wouldn't get done. Best product ever! Easy to put it on and strap, very safe on icy inclined roofs. It comes with one extra clip, but I wish there were two in the package. I wish it was cheaper, but when it comes to safety, I'm sure, it is be the best product out there. Highly suggest to everyone! Don't waste your money on some cheap cleats if you want safety!
