Great for it's purpose!
I have used this product in the past so I knew before purchase what I was getting. Many people comment that this isn't what they thought. This is a strop conditioner not a sharpening paste. Great for the leather and keeps it working properly. If a sharpening paste is needed this is not it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep the leather in great shape!

Old school strop paste. Very good for conditioning the leather.
A decent paste for taking care of leather Barber strop. My grandfather used it to keep his strop in great condition. And decades later it is still the best piece of equipment for conditioning the leather strop I’ve been using for the past ten years now.

I ran out of my container of strop wax and know nothing about this. I have used one of the pots of wax on my three inch strop. It seems to work as I have no complaints. I have no real grounds to recommend this particular strop wax. You will have to try it for yourself to determine if it is any good. I guess I would suggest buying it and giving it a try. Maybe you know more about this stuff than I do. Good Luck.
