Botanical Moisture Creme 4 Oz

I am - to put it mildly - middle aged. I have used a lot of different moisturizers. All different prices. Most recently, I used La Mer because my wealthy sister bought it for me. La Mer is nice. It leaves your skin feeling fresh and dewy all day. But it's $$$$$. It doesn't change your skin or even pretend to. LaMer is a really good moisturizer. Probably the best ever.I decided I wanted all organic types of products for my skin and didn't want to pay the $$$$$ for La Mer. I was in the natural foods store and saw this. What the heck, it was only $25 for a big 4 oz tub of it. I had no expectations.At first, I thought the fragrance was a little odd. It reminded me of that swiss pyramid-marketing organic beauty company. (sorry the name escapes me, darn middle age)After several weeks of using this stuff my skin has changed! It's smoother and softer and younger. I swear no one is paying me to say this. I'm writing this review because I'm blown away that such an affordable product is probably the best skin concoction I've ever tried.Also, I've come to be rather addicted to the fragrance. It is soothing and calming in a way that I can't explain. I've come to want to take the time at night to moisturize - it's the unusual botanic fragrance and the calming nature of the stuff. (it's not exactly a cream or a lotion )Anyway - if you try this cream I hope that you give it a few weeks and I hope you can see the results for yourself.

I agree with the first reviewer. I love the smell. It is similar to a crean my esthetician sold me for $40 and is as creamy. Organic is the way to go as much as possible and I think it has made a difference on my face as well although I have not finished the first jar. I would recommend it to others. I asked my health food store clerk to order more and she has not so I am going to get it online, my only choice.
