They're very good.
These work perfectly with my Xperia Arc LT15, the buttons all work with default android player and others I have tried, good quality sound and better than most earphones I have tried. The flat cable is a god send and stops tangling cables so I can just bundle them into my pocket worry free. The earpiece does occasionally pop out but its not an issue once you workout how to put them in etc with enough slack on the cable to turn your head.I would definitely buy these again.

Rendering is very good, but cable is awful
The flat cable is absolutely awful and leads to earplugs not staying into my ears... but when it stays (i.e. I don't move!), songs are pretty well rendered.

good but expensive
for starters, JUST FOR 2011 XPERIAs. but you knew that already, and so did i. hard to find in romania, and pretty expensive.let's talk quality. almost perfect. nice fit and finish, nice brushed aluminium accents. nice buds, comes with different sizes, and with white spares. nice tangle free flat cable, remote works fine, mic works as expected, and a little clip. gold finish 3.5mm jack.the bad... the white plastic cables get dirty fast, have a medium amount of memory, so you should if you could store them in a straight line, not bundled in you pocket, but who really does that. the sound is a little weak and has low bass. the asymmetric cable tends to pull one one side, but if you clip it it's fine. again, it won't work with anything except the 2011 xperias, but 2011 xperias don't work with anything else either. so it comes to the price. expensive, for a headset with such limited application, but expected, since it has a small market, IE only two types of headset, both from sony ericsson.conclusion: if you need it, buy it, it's better than the competition, IE the box headset. it's nice, fashionable, practical, good (medium good) sound, confortable and pretty much the only one available.

prompt delivery - works welll as describedworks
not much to say. it works, it arrived on time, it does what it's supposed to and I'm happy.only one small gripe. the weight of the headphones is noticeable when you're walking or cycling. i have to keep replacing the headphones in my ear because they work loose after a time. if i hold the cable near the top, it solves the problem but i look like a spaz doing it.

Good sound but as irritating as wearing a monkey with a heroin addiction.
There are a few certain caveats to getting there to sound good AND enjoyable... I thought for £10 these were a bargain, however, a complete and utter waste of money. I actually hate these headphones to the point I pulled them off and put them in my bag as listening to London Traffic was more enjoyable than wearing them.1. The cable noise on my set was absolutely unbearable, I'm not that sensitive to this but these are crazy loud, a desk fan would cause a low burble of micro-phonic noise through the cabling. This can be slightly reduced by routing the cables behind your ear; but this then means turning your head is difficult as the cables tug being too short/poorly laid out and the remote control is literally right under or on the back your ear which is massively irritating and unusable.2. The remote control positioning coupled with the cable design is terrible; on my set it is literally 2 inches from the ear bud itself so too close to your ear, this means the weight pulls the buds from your ear constantly until they fall out and using the remote is impossibly fiddly if your on the move or even sat still.3. The ear buds are a poor design; firstly they are not secured properly to the units, most headphones like this have a lip or are designed to stay on. These slip off very easily, I nearly lost a bud that fell off as I removed these from my ear and it's not like they stay in your ears well either. As above, the weight of remote pulls one side out.4. The cable is simply too short for a behind the neck layout and as stated badly designed.5. They are of very poor build quality, I bought these early in May and the cable plug is now defective (cuts in and out, moving the cable and holding it in a certain way makes them work again) and from day one the balance in one ear is much lower than the other, I thought this might correct itself with use but it hasn't. I will be returning these for a refund as they are not fit for purpose.6. Forget about wearing these whilst moving let alone running or sports, above the cable noise, design and falling out buds lay rest to anything other than sat still.7. The sound quality is pretty much moot by this point, there is a lot to be said about the comfort of headphones of this type and how much it contributes to a listening experience. Even if they were at a higher price point they money they sound excellent in comparison to others but they are so uncomfortable it is like wearing a monkey with a heroin addiction round your neck, constantly annoying you and needing a fix every 5 minutes.I just can't understand how they can be this bad, I've never really paid much attention to how a set of headphones "feel", I just wore and ignored, but these cannot be excused let alone ignored. Buy these and you will stop enjoying music. If you haven't read all of this, my advice is to avoid these like the plague despite the "glowing review" on a certain headphone audiophile type site to which lured me to buy these. I will be returning this set due to the fault and the quality, I have bought a set of RHA MA350's and at 3 times the price they are worth every penny on comfort alone.

Not compatible with new Sony smartphones
Be very careful, if you are looking to use the LiveSound as a hands-free, they do NOT work with smartphones released as Sony - only with older Sony-Ericsson devices! And I mean they are completely incompatible with Sony-Ericsson, you will not get anything out of them (I think for new Sony devices they have now released a more expensive version, called SmartSound I think). When I realised the mistake I made I thought that at least I can use them to listen to music on an MP3. Well, unfortunately they don't work well with MP3s nor other music devices either. You get hardly any sound, it lacks any depth or bass, it is almost as if listening to music at the end of a long tunnel.I have tried bypassing this problem by buying a plug adaptor to trick the MP3 into thinking these were simple headphones and not a specially formulated hands-free; but no luck. The sound is still feeble. I would say you only get 50-60% of sound through these when used as music headphones.I'm so gutted I spent all this money and I can not use them at all..(They do look amazing though, hence the second star)

Fantastic item!
The product is amazing! It is really slick and the sound quality is to die for, I love the fact you also get lots of spare earbuds and in different colours (black and green)! One thing I want to mention is that a lot of people post on the internet that the on cord controls don't work, THIS IS NOT TRUE!!! The play/pause button locks after not being used for a while, to unlock it just press the live key.... In addition the item arrived in 10 days, this was astonishing as I live in New Zealand and yet is till arrived quickly.
