I looked at lots of vacuums and read lots of reviews. Did my research and took a chanceThis Eureka PowerSpeed NEU 180 sounded good, with lots of great reviews. I need something that will take care of pet hair and dust as we rent a house that has old shagg carpet thats very much old and the previous tenants " prob "had pets lolThe bag less system is simple to use and super easy to empty, and does not require replaceable filters which is a plus.A lot of reviewers showed how much hair the vacuum got up after showing the old vacc and what it got up first. They were not kidding! It was not even compareable to what this beauty can do,! I ran the Eureka over a very small area in living room maybe 3ft total ? one time ! not multiple passes and the dust bin was nearly full of pet hair and dirt. See pics . It had only been a couple of days since I vacuumed with my old shark vacc that I thought was the best man was I wrong ! I use to sware by and love shark products .I am shocked at what was in the container. I am amazed! Shocked and Blown away ,! And discussed that this carpet was that dirty .( old tenants deff had pets ) I am a clean freak I vaccume and clean non stop every day . Also my 8 year old has asthma. Allergies to pet dander. This thing is light and easy to maneuver, gets under under the edges of furniture easily. It cleans right to the edge. Unlike any vacuum I ever had before, this is NOT noisy at all . No dust or particles in air from the vaccume . I can feel how powerful the suction is .The ease of dumping the dust container is also a big thing for me. Other bagless similar vaccs and my old shark vacc was a nasty dusty mess to empty. Dust particles from filter always in the air . Even after id clean the filter. Also very heavy. Also expensive! ! !I paid a pretty penny for my shark and other bagless vaccums with thinking you get what you pay for right,? .Thats why I also was Skeptical about buying this vacc at less than 100.00 it was so inexpensive, but had great reviews . now I know why. Its amazing !!! 👏I can't find anything negative about the Eureka. I am looking forward to vacuuming the rest of the house and picking up a ton of hair and grime from the previous tenants. The owners should have replaced this carpet years ago and didn't probably because of how durable shagg carpeting can be, but it grosses me out . I am so happy I went with reviews / my gut and bought this Eureka ( MaxSwivel Pro NEU350 with Pet Tool, Yellow ) vs shark or another expensive vacc .Some notes on things previous reviewers complained about:Some folks talked about the hole at the end of the handle, and that the hose was too short. They must not have gotten the instructions with theirs. The handle doubles as a wand that extends the hose so you can reach furniture, drapes, etc. The Owner's Use Manual that came with mine is great. Well Illustrated, thorough, and easy to understand. Another plus.Several people said the height adjustment did not work, and it either was too low and burned the carpet, or too high and wouldn't clean. I checked mine before using it, and seems fine no issues .I will say I just got this Yesterday but I unboxed it and used it today 04/27/2024I will update if anything changes. I am on cloud 9 right now couldn't be happier ☺️ this is also the most detailed and longest review I have ever left! Buy The Eureka you will NOT be sorry!

I bought this because I'm a paraplegic and I wanted something light weight that I could use from my chair. The swivel is a definite plus! It's a sweet little vacuum and has been through all the abuse of being dropped, lots of cat hair and it hasn't broke yet. This vacuum has really good suction! You can see the dirt being sucked up even before the vacuum gets there. For me, having the controls on the handle is a plus. There's a few changes I'd like to see just to help us "Hot wheel" people, but I'd recommend this product.

This vacuum arrived a few days ago and have been putting it to the test since day one.Good: the price was very, very good. A full size vacuum that is surprisingly light weight and very powerful. Not using bags is a great feature and it holds a lot before having to be emptied.Bad: it can’t handle thick carpeting very well. It will work, but will take a while.At this point will see how well it does in the long haul.

I bought this to replace a Hoover that cost twice as much. My family always had Hoover products, and I was always a customer. But Hoover just isn't the product I remember growing up. After my last Hoover fell apart after just a year of actual use, I was done. So I decided to try this relatively cheap Eureka. Well, I'm now a convert. The Eureka has been completely trouble free and has benn going strong for a year and a half. Does it have a lot of fancy options? No, it's a simple unit. But I see that as a plus. It just does what I paid for, and that's pick up dirt. And it does it without a fuss. Will definitely but again if this one ever goes.

I've owned this vacuum for a little over a year and this vacuum isn't great. To specify, I have the yellow model.Pros:Suction is great. One of the best qualities of this vacuum. The waste bin is designed good. I've never had dumping it bin reinstall issues past normal events.The handle tube is a great way have an extension without caring for an extra party that floats around.Neutral:The tube handle connection isn't tight so the vacuum has some wobble to it. It's not a deep breaker but it just doesn't feel great.The roller attachment doesn't do a great job if acting like a vacuum head. Honestly the regular brush head works better so don't buy it for the extra attachment.The bad:The belt for the brush head fails. I've already had to replace mine 3 times and I haven't even had to replace a filter yet. The last one even failed on hardwood floor. Anything that san stop a little rubber belt on a small metal roller is enough to stop it, which instantly burns up and breaks the belt. Pretty sure mine failed from 1/4 of a toothpick. Literally never had to do this much work to a vacuum besides deep hair removal from the roller about once a year.Customer service was trash. Had to do multiple emails with an excessive amount of info to verify I bought it be other replacements from Amazon. Also if you don't reply to an email in 5 days they end the conversation and have to start over, which did happen to me while I was trying to start the return before leaving on a cruise.The part that hold the vacuum up doesn't work anymore so now when using the hose I have to carry it and lean it when not is use.The roller does not shut off while fully upright. This design is absolutely horrible because it's already eaten its own cable in the process. I have never used a vacuum without this feature and I see why now.Overall, its a weird mixture of great and garbage parts/design and it doesn't fit into any category. I feel like I'd rather spend less on a cheap vacuum and be prepared for similar issues or spend a little more or even the same price for something with better parts. Honestly I may just cut this up and treat it like a midsized suction tube only style vacuum or shop vac and buy a different upright in the next couple weeks
