Basically I'm a hobbyist-slash-repairist, not a professional soldering tech. I don't have fancy gear, just a $40 iron. What I can tell you is this solder is very easy to work with and you don't have to be a professional to notice! It melts and flows very nicely! I'm very happy with the joints I have made, they are structurally and electrically solid. PLUS, they look good! I still use flux very generously to help speed up the heat transmission and isolate the work area. I also use heat sinks on my wires and "helping hands" alligator clips to manipulate wires and keep from getting burnt fingers. I expect this roll will probably last a couple of years for me, but when the time comes I will get this one again! 5 stars!
