Q: what version does it have?

Well, when I bought mine I thought it was a 2000, but it ended up being a 3000 since it had a built in mic.

Q: Anyone know what firmware comes pre-installed on this?

It all depends on when the system was manufactured. Not all PSP 2000s come with one firmware version installed. I think it may be around 3.0-5.0.
