Anbee LED Camera Head Light Daylight Bright White for DJI Phantom 3 Professional & Advanced Quadcopter

Was good, but it only lasted a few weeks before something burned out.

Did not work out of the box. Went with different light.

This product works great for hobbyists and those looking for a little more secure feeling when flying so other aircraft will see your drone in the air. This light can be spotted all the way up to 400 feet coming back to its home position and it really does help. I had the Koozam blue LED light strips on my drone as well, and some poor folks even thought it was a UFO while I was flying it one night. I don't notice much of a battery drain either, since LEDs use very little power and show up quite nicely up in the air at maximum altitude. I fly as a hobbyist and the FAA did state that this is what is enabling me to use my lighting as extra "See and Avoid" tactics for other aircraft in the drone because normally the FPV camera alone isn't. This is what enables me to go out of line of sight flying, because in my area, its pretty much impossible to go a few feet with out the heavy tree line that is obstructing my view and impossible to keep an eye on it at all times. If you're looking for extra security and peace of mind while flying, the after market lights don't hurt, they really do help for visibility because you may not always notice aircraft around but at least the aircraft will notice you. 1 of 3 works right, the other 2 do not work. The red led on the controller goes on, and the lights go off mid flight.... I like the idea of this, but it just does not work well.... Also there's 0 support from the seller or the maker, as far as figuring out why it's not working. I would not recommend unless they get on with documenting the product and supporting it, at least somewhat...

Holy crap, this thing is bright! Highly visible, even in broad daylight. So bright it hurts to even look at it indirectly. It installs fine following their basic instructions. It would be nice to provide a small printed instruction sheet with the product, but looking at the pictures on the product page should be enough to figure it out, plus just staring at the power connector and the battery posts for a minute. I think it's a bit of a hack the way it's suggested to fish the wires through the vent hole and then attach the little circuit board and the light to the Phantom body with the provided two-sided (really sticky) tape. I plan to disassemble my Phantom body, mount the circuit board inside (I don't care if the on-off switch is not accessible--it turns off when the Phantom is powered off, or maybe I can make a small hole to be able to switch it with a paper clip or something), drill a small hole to route the wires, and mount the light in a better way. I also want to make some sort of frame/fixture for the light to make it look more professional. We'll see how that goes.

Unfortunately If you think your getting a very bright light, your not. But for the price I guess,,,,,, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.......

Really bright light, no instructions, + & - terminals must be correct or it won't work. Switch & circuit board need a plastic cover otherwise works well. Does not seem to effect flight time much if at all.
