Great light
Use it for work for 2 plus years now. Great quality and durability. Great brightness!

Signal Aliens!
This flashlight is freaking awesome. It's so nice I bought one for each member of my family and added one to each of our emergency go bags. Their design has changed slightly. The old model used a mini-USB port but now use the USB-C port on the newer models. It has several brightness levels; 1 being bright enough for just reading a book and level four for blinding someone or for signaling aliens on a distant planet. Battery life is fantastic for it's size and replaceable with a NCR18650BD battery if ever needed. I haven't had to. It can go months of sitting in a drawer and still have great power. It's construction is just as great as it's performance. Very solid. You can drop it from hand height onto concrete and not be concerned it'll break. This guy gets a solid two thumbs up from me.

Good product for light. Strobe mode is hard to maneuver.
I use this flash light for photograph. I got it mainly for the lumens which are awesome, and for the strobe mode which is a bit hard to get to work I think.

It Has Proven To Be Reliable
I purchased the unit approximately two years ago and it has been well worth the price. I really enjoy the ability to change brightness on it (sometimes you don't want your light beam to be seen by others, right?) and only using the bright options when you need them prolongs the battery before having to charge. This little beast has been dropped several times, enough to scratch up the paint, but it keeps working. I have had it dropped in any water, so I can't review on that. Love the big light in small package that can fit in your pants or shirt pocket. Gets used a lot, from lighting small projects, looking for dog toys under bed or furniture, to investigating what made the dogs bark at night. A winner in my book.

Good quality light at a decent price.
At the time of this writing, I've had the Soonfire MX flashlight for a little while now, and I have no particular complaints. It's USB rechargeable, has 5 regular lighting modes, a battery voltage indicator, and comes with nice accessories which include a belt holster and an unprotected 2500mAh plain wrapper 18650 battery. It can also use smaller battery sizes... either 2 - (disposable) CR123, or 2 - rechargeable (lithium) 16340, or 2 - rechargeable (lithium) 18350 size cells. Keep in mind it can only charge internally with a singe 18650. The XP-L LED along with a smooth reflector, produce a somewhat focused beam with long throw of around 300 meters. Operating it is as simple as clicking the main tail switch, (and by the way it's also a tactical switch--for momentary light) then advancing the modes by pressing the side switch. Instant turbo is available by double-clicking the side switch from any mode. Instant "low-low" mode can be activated anytime by TRIPLE-clicking! For instant Strobe, press and hold the side switch (from any mode). To charge the battery internally connect the USB cable, and click the main switch. There's also the indicator within the side switch. When the battery is strong, it's blue. When charging the battery, it's red. The attached outdoor beam pics were taken on Turbo mode. For the price, the Soonfire is a decent quality flashlight with simple features and useful accessories.

Light that penetrates, very durable, and long lasting.
I bought this specific flashlight many, many years ago from Amazon. Probably around 10 years ago, maybe less, maybe more. Though I spent more $$ on it then, it has held up through everything I've done to it. I've banged it up, dropped it, used it day in and day out. I'm a technician/engineer, it's in my pocket every single day whether I'm at work or not. It is amazingly bright, with 5 intensity settings, and the shine is long and narrow. It has 1 powerful LED that penetrates the darkness. Not like those other lights that are fat and the light doesn't travel far, this will light up a forest on the side of the interstate, while you're traveling in your car, to give a rough idea of the brightness/distance. Very durable too, I've dropped it on concrete hundreds of time, could be used as a quick weapon if needed as well. The buttons are great quality, especially the on/off on the top, I've clicked it probably 20,000 times, no joke. Battery life is amazing, uses a rechargeable 18650, so you can always have spares charged up if you vape. I LOVE this flashlight, and if mine ever dies, I'll be purchasing the same one again. Honestly just as good and durable as a real Surefire.. the best knock-off I've ever used, period.

Don’t drop your “heavy-duty” flashlight. Not even from 2 feet.
It worked great for some time. But then I took it to work. I was doing something where the flashlight was maybe 2 to 3 feet off of the concrete floor. Well it dropped. I didn’t notice anything and turned it off and put it in my tool box. The next day I tried using it and the little button where you change the brightness is gone. No big deal right? Well, from what I’ve found out, if you do not have that button, the flashlight will not take a charge anymore, the only way it will show that it’s charging is by leaving it ON. But I know that won’t work. I can’t change brightness anymore or charge it. So that’s that. For 40 dollars I expected a little more. I do not recommend this product, unless you’re using it where if it drops, there’s a floor or some type of cushion. I did like it. But it failed miserably.

Perfect size, excellent for work
It took me FOREVER to find a flashlight that wasn't like "TEN BILLION LUMENS, BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN, StRoBe SeTTiNgS, SO SMALL YOU CAN HIDE IT IN YOUR BELLYBUTTON!" and then I found this one. It has enough brightness settings to be useful in several situations, it's not tiny and not huge, and you won't go blind using it. Plus it's tough, and rechargeable, excellent for work.

Just received the Soonfire MX65 today. It's awesome! Bright enough for me at 1060 lumen. Fits perfectly in my back jean pocket. It has a tail switch to turn it on/off, and the side switch is for mode & battery life indicator ONLY. So I can't imagine accidentally turning this flashlight on while in my back pocket, and accidentally burning my ass off. That was a big thing for me. Not burning my ass off. These flashlights as far as I researched can get really hot at the head of the flashlight (this is the first tactical flashlight I've bought). The weight, size, and construction is good for me - I can easily see myself using this flashlight as a self-defence tool if it ever came to that. It's also water proof (tested it in shallow water fully submersed). Since this is day 1, I can't speak of reliability. My review and 5 star score is base solely on first impressions. I will update this review (if I remember to hopefully), in a year to tell you how this flashlight is doing, fingers crossed. Of course, if anything bad happens on reliability before the year is up, I will update, and most likely change my score ('cuz that'll make me sad and angry). But as of today, love it! ps. haven't done a drop test so I can't say anything on that.
