The price was Ok. It was delivered on time. The recipient wanted a specific charger for one of his tools, found on Amazon during a search. He tried it in the garage& it took a little longer than expected but there are no complaints. No plans to return the product. He is glad the purchase was made.

Doesn't work with makita batteries 18 v

Bought this charger to replace another charger that I just bought about two weeks ago. That other charger would take my older 1830 Makita batteries, but did not fit my brand new 1860 batteries. So, I sent it back and bought this one. This fits my old 1830 batteries, too, and also the brand new 1860 batteries. Even batter- this charger not only sings when you insert the batteries (as the other charger did), but it also sings when the charging is complete!!! The other one did not. This fits all Makita batteries, even the newest ones, and sings both when charging starts and is completed. What a piece of work!!!
