I was looking for something inexpensive that would work as a towel ring. This was easy to install and looks decent enough. It also fits a standard hand towel folded in half lengthwise.It’s seems somewhat sturdy and is able to handle my kids tugging on it. I’m deducting one star because where the ring connects at the top has a plastic attachment, which is unattractive. So far (about 2 months), it’s held up to my kids’ daily abuse, I do worry if it will hold up in the long term. For the price, it was a risk I was willing to take.

We’ve been remodeling a small powder room, including replacing all the old chrome fixtures to antique brass ones. This towel bar was a perfect match and we love the oval or oblong ring as a change from the more common round ones. It was easily installed and good quality, although the small plastic washers or spacers are not attractive even if they are considered necessary for preventing wear and friction.

It looks great and works well! Was very easy to install.
