Easy to Install
I replaced a non keyed door handle with this set. I removed the old, installed the new one in 30 minutes. Looks great and Schlage is known for quality locks. Looks great.

Great handle
We needed a handle to match the ones the builder put in. After 4 years of use, our back door handle broke and we were trapped outside (thank goodness the gate wasn’t locked and we could go in the front!). I called around and our local Home Depot had the kit to rekey this lock. Once we rekeyed, it was a breeze to change out. It’s sturdy and works great!

Very nice overall
I recently just purchased this lock for my bedroom (I like having privacy). The installation was really easy and quick. It is really nice looking and modern but it seems to wiggle a bit. The screws are in tight so that's not the issue (perhaps I was supposed to place a piece of metal that came in the box but I have no idea what that was for). It works just fine for a bedroom or even a bathroom but I wouldn't use it for an entrance as it doesn't seem sturdy.

Problem solver
We needed to make sure our 4yo twins stayed away from our bedroom. The only option was a gate, but they learned how to open it (or bang on it until we gave up). This door handle looks quite like the standard ones in our apartment, just a tad shorter. But the fact we can lock the door is a life saver. The twins still knock on the door, but you can’t have it all...

Stylish and feels substantial
I bought this handle for my exterior door in a condo complex, so that it would match with all the interior ones I had purchased. I love the chrome look that is easy to clean and doesn't actually get fingerprints on it easily.It feels solid and while I probably wouldn't put it as an exterior handle to the world for security reasons, it fits my needs perfectly.One annoyance though, given that it can be installed on both a right or left handed door, to open the lock, we have to turn the key upwards in our installation. But not a big deal!
