Works on roman tub faucet...
My tub has an oddly shaped, large, roman tub faucet which was too big to fit a small/regular sized shower hose onto. Of the limited number of portable shower hoses available, this one seemed to be the only one that would work. When it arrived I attached it to the faucet, (some force was required to slide it on right), and then I tested it out. The shower works great and the pressure is as good as our plumbed shower. One note of caution: My home has pretty good water pressure and when I turned the hot and cold taps on to full, at the same time, the pressure overwhelmed the seal and spayed water all over me, quite amusing but something that folks with good water pressure may want to avoid. This is no problem anyway because having both the hot and cold on full, gives cold water anyway because the cold pressure is always greater than the hot pressure. I am able to put the hot tap on full and the cold tap on enough to achieve the perfect temperature from the shower head. This product is ideal for people who don't have a shower head built into the tub and who have a large faucet that won't fit a regular size shower hose.

Do not use it with high pressure water! won't work..
I'm from Egypt and I currently live in USA. We all have hand held showers in Egypt and I'm used to hold the sprayer in my hand while talking a shower and what's important is that I'm used to bath my baby and rinse her body using a hand held shower so I didn't know how to bath her without it. I bought this product for that reason but I was disappointed. Cons: - The shower allows little amount of the water to pass through it; therefore some of the water that can not pass, come out of the initial shower built in the wall. (This is due to the high pressure of the water) - Then after no more than one minute, the whole thing pulls out of the faucet due to water pressure. - The manufacturer suggests that you install a valve in the wall built in shower to turn it off while using the hand held shower so that no water will come out of the first. But I think this is a stupid suggestion because this happens due to high pressure and if you gonna prevent water from coming out from the first shower, the pressure will be even stronger on the hand held shower and will pull it out instantly! Pros: - Very easy installation with no tools. - Did fit my square faucet. - I have to say the water that comes out of the sprayer is really nice especially if used for a baby. - Maybe this would work if the pressure of the water wasn't strong.. Not sure! I'll try to use this product in Egypt because the water pressure is not that strong. Although I'm quite sure it'll not fit the faucets in Egypt, but I'll give it a try!

Good in Theory- Not Great With Older Style Hardware
I had to find a way for the nurse's aides to help my father bathe (he has broken his hip). This was the best option I could find to make his shower more accessible temporarily. I'm not a plumber, and didn't want to have to hire someone to re-do the showerhead and plumbing. While this would work in theory, unfortunately it does not work well with older style plumbing fixtures. It refuses to stay on the spigot in order to be useful. I think that it would create a better bond on newer style fixtures, so if you wanted it in a newer home to help bathe your children, this would probably be a good option. But for elderly parents (like mine) who do not have all the upgrades in their homes, I think that the only true option is to just upgrade and put a permanent detachable fixture in- which I have scheduled to be done in the near future.

Better than what I have and useful
I have an old tub with a square-shaped spigot (no diverter pin) -- although I have a shower head, I prefer to wash with this contraption if I don't want to get my hair/face wet -- unless I want to spend a lot of $ to replace the shower head, I have been forced to use this device -- years ago, I used to find it in stores for about $7, but no more. The plastic wall mount it comes with is fairly useless -- I'm actually able to have it remain "wall stable" at body height by propping it into/onto a sturdy, plastic, wall-mounted soap holder (the tubing runs through the opening in the front & the head sits atop the dish opening). As most others have noted, it's not easy to afix the rubber end snugly to the spigot in order to lessen the chance of it leaking/blowing off with increased water pressure -- I have small hands, so the best way I've found is to put on rubber gloves (to get a better grip) and work the rubber head onto the spigot when both the spigot and hose head are dry. The relatively short hose becomes more flexible if you run hot water through it -- once the hose is warm/flexible, I slip it onto the soap holder (placed a few feet above the spigot and above the faucets). Once again, you cannot just turn on the water as you normally would for a shower or bath -- start slowly mixing the hot & cold water increasing the pressure until it's enough to use, but not as much pressure as you'd like -- it's inadequate, but better than nothing. I'm replacing this same item after a few years of using it because the plastic piece that fits into the tubing broke off and is now stuck inside the tubing. Addendum at Nov 2, 2013: the device is still fine, not cracking or defective ..... just remember not to put too much pressure through the hose or it will blow off the tub spigot.

Works just fine.
I took my chances and bought this portable shower so that my wife can shower the baby easier in the tub without having to use the cup. The flexible connection slipped onto the spout in my bath tub just fine. I didn't have to heat it up or soaked in hot water. No leaks or water spraying everywhere. The water pressure was pretty decent and did not slip off. I had both the hot and cold water on at the same time. The spout in my tub is larger then the regular sink spout. I can see why some people have trouble with it slipping off and water spraying everywhere due to the connection is larger then the regular sink spouts. If you plan to use this on your sink, you might want to reconsider as I can see it will slip off or leak/spray water.
