I don’t have much of a green thumb...it’s more black. 😛 But I’ve managed to keep my succulents alive for a while now! I’d say that’s mostly in part to the proper soil, and watering tips from reading blogs (let soil completely dry out before watering, and don’t get water on the plants. I use a syringe).

My friend had gifted me desert rose plants that came without soil. I tried putting them in regular potting soil (because due to the pandemic, there was no succulent soil at the garden store for months). They immediately lost all their leaves so I bought this cactus/succulent soil and I am happy to report both desert rose plants sprouted shiny green leaves! Pricey compared to the garden store pricing but this was exactly what my plants needed! Saved their lives.

I replanted my cacti about a month ago and no one is showing signs of damage. It smells horrible, but that is the only complaint I have.

Update: they kindly sent me a bigger bag for free, and it still was smaller than 4 actual quarts, but it's good soil. It does what it needs to do for my succlents and I mixed it with another rockier soil to make it even better for my succlents. It drains well, and that's perfect for a succlent plant. I reccomend the soil I just wish it was more quantity for the large bag used.

Since I moved to a new apartment, all my old house plants have died. The only thing I've managed to keep alive is a snake plant. So, I decided to try succulents. First attempt, disastrous. They all withered. Did some research and found that succulents and cactus need special soil. So glad I purchased Kenzoplants potting mix. My succulents seem happy and are showing signs of growth.

This is a good mix for my succulents and other plants that don’t take much water. I like that it came in a resealable bag, it’s easy to use and it’s so convenient that I got it shipped to me instead of dragging it from the plant store. It’s organic which is nice it’s fresh and it’s clean and I’m really happy with it so I absolutely do recommend this.

This is good for catas. Or any plans that doesn't like too much water. It is very loose. So what I can go for it easily and it will not rotten your plants root. However the price is at a higher point compared to other products.
