You know, I almost did not buy this, because there was no squeaker in it. But it said it smell like chicken so I give it a try. I have a Jack Russell, and he is a very aggressive chewer. when I got this thing, I couldn’t smell any chicken, but let me tell you my dog loves that thing, and he can’t chew it up. Even without the squeaker, it is one of his favorite toys, he even sleeps with it. He.Chews it all the time, and it keeps him real busy, plus there is no Mark on it. I’m glad I bought it and now I am ordering some other flavors..

Get a German Shepherd, they said.It will be great, they said.They weren't wrong. 💙Except... nobody warned me that chew toys have a self-destruct "count-down", within the hour, when a GSD gets a hold of it.The amount of money I've spent, in the 1st year, replacing, replenishing, and exploring chew toys.... has cost me more than what I paid for my purebred GSD.It's been worth it. She's 100% worth it. But I was losing hope my sweet girl would never have a long-term comfort toy.And then I met "playology". And it was like I'd found a GSD's toy-soulmate.Prior to the array of chew-toys I've bought from playology I had to be conscientious about quality-VS-cost, because I didn't want to spend a ton of $$; just to have the toy destroyed by Mila's aggressive playing. But after the 1st toy survived through a WEEK 😲... I bought a 2nd, then 3rd...etc. And now playology is my go-to.Now that I've thoroughly rambled... let's get down to brasstacks.THE FACTS:[my personal assessment scale 1-to-10]1= calm as a light breeze. OR I wouldn't recommend, even if free.10= destructive like an F5-tornado 😂 OR I recommend so strongly, I might get judgey if ya don't buy it. [LOL! And I haven't noticed any adverse reactions to these toys.... so I feel like they truly are non-toxic.The UPSIDE to the scent? I used these toys to train the "FIND" command. The stronger smell helping her locate when hidden.QUICK COMMENT on THIS TOY:This bone does NOT have a squeaker.It DOES have a small bounce to it when tossed on a hard surface.It's very dense, a little heavy; so, might not be ideal for tiny dogs.It DOES kinda smell like cheese; but with a faint chemical smell. I recommend hand washing it with a dab of non-toxic soap... let FULLY dry, hand wash again without soap to make sure all soap is gone; let fully dry. This substantially reduces the chemical smell.OVERALL?: 10 out of 10.No regrets.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!😍🤩I will not only continue to be a loyal patron, but I'm a Playology 'cheerleader' to any dog-parents, I now meet.

My dog loves it. It's his favorite thing in the world. I think if he had to choose between me and the toy he'd have to think it over. He's a strong chewer and he can destroy a tennis ball in half an afternoon but this has lasted him well over a month. He does have one of the ends chewed up so I gotta watch him with it. I got the yellow "chicken" flavored one but I notice no funky smell. Highly recommend. Not to bouncy either when playing fetch.

These bones don't necessarily last forever, but they do last quite a while. Our dog is a heavy chewer, but isn't interested in a toy that is too indestructible. These are perfect in the sense that they last a good amount of time, while still being something that she can chew into pieces. Being all natural rubber is great because if she does swallow small bits they pass and are easily picked up when she does her business.

Finally found a durable toy that is not too hard for my two husky boys. These are wonderful!

The theory is great! Especially for those chewers. It does not smell like beef or peanut butter, so not sure what that is all about. They claim products are for chewers, well not so much. They do have another one, that I may try since it is for heavy chewers. I did email and let them know that it was destroyed within minutes, I was very disappointed with their customer service. Essentially, sorry, thanks for paying for it but we will not refund your money or even replace the toy. Oh well, some companies are like this, it is how you learn to avoid them.

A bit overpriced, but durable for a heavy chewer. No toy is indestructible, but this one lasts a good several months until a piece gets nibbled loose and I have to toss it.

I purchased this and my dog now only pays with it.

Someone gave our 1 year old Lab this in peanut butter flavour, and he loved it, so I ordered the All Natural Beef Scent, and he also loves it. Flips between chewing on 1 to the other. Our Lab now 17 months is an aggressive chewer. Now we have some peace.

Have bought this before and is excellent chew toy this time got the large or so I thought, ad stated large but was smaller than the previous medium I bought not sure how that could happen? Nevertheless dog likes it

My puppy is a super chewer! He’s destroyed so many supposedly tough toys, I thought I would give this a try. He absolutely loves these bones! He now has the red, blue and yellow ones. They hold up beautifully!! I highly recommend them!

A great distraction to use from time to time. Not sure about the chicken scent on it, but my rottie takes it out and chews on it when he's bored. I play tug with him on it and it seems to hold up to the test of strength. Wish it was a bit bigger when it said large, I was hoping it was a larger than the avg size ones.
