This is my first purchase from GrifGrips and it wasn’t what I expected. Not knowing anything about the grips and even with reading the description, it’s kind of misleading as it doesn’t describe the “formulas” so I wasn’t expecting to open my package and have different looking patches. The white ones are a stronger more fabric formula which they call “Extreme”. The other 2 are a thin paper-like formula which they call “Power X”. The Power-X grips didn’t last more than 1 shower before they started to tear. Both formulas didn’t stick to the actual pad that attaches the Dexcom itself. So really neither formula was functional for me. They basically just stick to your skin and (not the Dexcom’s grip) and look pretty. In the 10 days of my Dexcom sensor, I replaced the grip 5 times. (Yes, 5.) I contacted GrifGrips about my concerns and they re-sent me a package of these same prints but all in the Extreme formula. Their customer service is great, the product just doesn’t add up to what I need or expected! So basically if you are looking for something to make your Dexcom look cute, this is it. Not so much for protection of the Dexcom’s pad to stay in place.

So. I bought a pack of these g6 sensors about a year ago, the pack I received then looked like the patch on the right in the picture attached. They served me well enough, nothing to rave about but they did what I needed them to do: kept my sensor on my arm for the required 10 days.I figured I could buy another pack this year when I ran out and I could get another year of my cgm staying where it should.What I received was a pack with the majority of the patches like the one shown on the left and like 4 of the ones on the right. What’s the difference? The left patches are a thin paper like tape, that I figured I’d give a chance to even though it’s really hard to get it off the paper backing. The patch on the right is a more fabric like tape, not unlike the tape on my actual sensor.The patch on the left is more than garbage and I’m honestly pissed I spent more than half a penny for them. After one shower the paper tape was peeling up like crazy and acted just as cheap garbage paper does when wet, it falls apart. So after I peel off the disintegrated paper I’m left with sticky adhesive. Very. Sticky. Adhesive. The adhesive that took nail polish remover to get off me and I’m still slightly sticky. I tried baby oil, rubbing alcohol, soap, cotton swabs, washcloths. But nothing worked so I had to resort to nail polish remover.And that brand new sensor I just put on? Destroyed in my attempt to get the adhesive off.I will never buy from this brand again. If I could give negative stars on Amazon I would. Garbage.Thank you.

The media could not be loaded.  Like to add a little style when I'm going out. These will stick to you very well as long as you are completely dry before use.

Was hoping it would stay for the 10 days of wear but they start to lift at the edges before then.

Designs were great. The backing was not completely perforated and did not come apart without tearing. Which means the adhesive was touched and stretched. They did not last long.

I’m liking this patch better than others I’ve used, to secure the infusion set for my Medtronic insulin pump. Others I’ve used were flimsier.
