All in an effort to find the one that truly performed up to its billing and I finally after literally 30 years I’ve found it.I’m predominantly a side sleeper so when contour pillows first arrived, they sounded like the perfect solution to support my neck keeping it in the proper alignment with my spine. Well, after a while, I found that all contour pillows are not alike. Depending on your size, the part of the pillow that supports your neck can be too high or too low unless the manufacturer sells more than one size option allowing one to purchase the correct height thickness to support the neck. Still, it was all guesswork.Nowadays, when you buy a contour pillow it’s usually a one- size-fits-all. Well, unless you can adjust the pillow to the height that correctly supports your neck, one-size-fits-all just doesn’t cut the mustard.Royal Therapy solved the problem by designing a contour pillow with 4 user-adjustable layers to literally custom fit the pillow to the user’s personal needs. Amazing pillow

Overall, I was impressed w the quality. Was very on the fence abt this purchase and am very picky abt my pillows as I struggle w neck tension/ issues and am a side sleeper… knowing what a great return policy Amazon had, I decide to go for it- and I would say this pillow is great if u are looking for a soft to medium soft firmness pillow. I found it to be supportive and very soft, I really like the adjustable options - one note that it’s layered (4 sections) so u remove a whole layer, is great so u don’t have to deal w all the small chunks of must adjustable memory foam pillows but also limits the height customizations.I ultimately went back to my more firm Tempur-Pedic pillow but kept this one and may use it again once my new mattress is more broke in. It was just a tad too soft for my firm mattress…

I have one of these memory-foam neck-support pillows in standard size and I love it. When we bought a king-size bed I thought, oh, hey, I can just get one of these in king size, right? Hah. Turns out, selection on king size pillows is very slim to begin with, let alone memory foam ones, and forget neck support - all you can find is that shredded foam stuff, which is crap for people with neck issus. The one memory foam neck support pillow I did find was just WAY too thick. Did you know you need to shop for pillows based on your height? I didn't, but now I do! It felt like I'd brought a freaking sofa cushion into the bed with me!I had given up for a while and brought my old standard pillow back into the bed, but I couldn't find a way to make the bed with it that didn't look lopsided so I kept looking. FINALLY I found this pillow and... it's perfect! Even at its full thickness, it's not too huge for my height (which is 5' 4" by the way.) I went ahead and took the middle layer out anyway though and wow. It's perfect! Just like my old one, but it fits a king-size pillow case and the bed finally looks decently coordinated. Oh, and my neck doesn't hurt in the morning!Bonus: It seemed a shame to throw out that middle layer of foam, so I rolled it up and put it inside a little neck-roll sofa pillow case whose insides had worn out years ago, and now it's a decorative accent. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase - I just wish Amazon's search engine had allowed me to find it sooner!

High quality pillow first night was a dream to use

Pros - After 2 years of use, the memory foam is firm and retains its shape unlike the traditional pillow we all grew up on - ones that start out big and then it gets flat with no more neck support.Cons - Royal therapy stucked to their words but when you buy a premium product, you expect it to last its entire warranty or close to it. The cover material seems ok but the stitch material is weak.
