ACDelco AUX12 Professional Automotive AGM JIS 12BS Battery

Check engine light was on PLUS remote start would not work. Drove to dealership who read the code and said it was the AUX battery needing replaced. Original battery was over 6 years old. Original main battery was replaced less than 6 months ago.Less than 30 minutes to replace per YouTube instructions. Very easy! Remote start still did not work and the check engine light did not clear after 3 days. Had to use OBD2 reader to clear code. After that, remote start worked. It's been several days and the check engine light is still clear.I selected this GM battery due to the warranty (3 years). Other batteries were warranted for a few months or a year. And they were only about 15 dollars less.NOTE: Battery was not low enough to stop the engine stop/start function at stops (signs and traffic lights). The only symptoms were a check engine light and the remote start not working.

I never leave reviews, but I’m writing this one because it could help another lady like myself. I did research on my 2015 Chevy Malibu after my car would get to auto/stop on red lights the radio would shut off. Also my auto start stopped working. I bought this because I had a hard time getting the aux battery checked at Orely and Autozone. And I had also changed the big battery about 4-6 months ago, and had read this happens sometimes. I looked up videos on YouTube and It was very easy to change. I recommend it, fit good, and durability tbd. So far good value for the money.

To my surprise, my Volvo XC60 warned me that my Aux Battery needed servicing. Had no idea what an Aux battery was, I had to Google it. Decided to order this battery, mainly for the convenience factor of online ordering, and it took me all of 10 minutes to install and now my Volvo is happy again! Works great.

It arrived earlier than expected and seems to work fine. I got 8 years out of the first battery and hope this OEM replacement does as well. I can't really speak to its longevity now as it's only been in the car a few hours. It fit perfectly...no fussing with adapters or different bolts.

The battery arrived when expected. The packaging was good. The battery fit just as described. My check engine light went away.

Battery clearly says 36 month free replacement. At 30 months the battery went bad and Amazon will not replace it. No other AC/Delco dealer will replace it either. Do NOT buy from Amazon if you expect warranty support.

Had this battery for I think 5 months now for replacement in my trunk! So far soooooo goood
