The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Fluval spray bar for my 36 gallon bowfront aquarium and Fluval 207 canister filter set up. I was looking for something to evenly disburse and circulate the water better, and found this. I currently run 2 fluval 207 canisters, with input and output on each side of the tank, and decided to use this on the right side. It was very long and ended up cutting some off both ended to fit evenly with the connector, pretty evenly spaced. One side of the bar and a stopper, and you just connect the two piece together using the connector piece provided. Remove the current exit system and attach the spray bar using the provided suction cups, and then position the holes however you like them. I don't want to hear it, so mine are positioned just facing downward slightly. I am very happy with this bar, now back to Fluval to get some new connector pieces to update the rest of my system!

The media could not be loaded. I wanted a water outlet that was gentler than what the fluval 307/407 came with (pretty much one hole that hoses your poor fishes across the tank), so this seems quieter and bettwr for my goldfishes. I opted to connect both bars.I think this is overpriced for a few pcs of plastic tubing and 2 rubber connectors considering the couple hundred dollars that you have to spend on the canister filters. Be sure you pay attention placing the tube with the clear end cap at the other side of the connector. I wasn't paying attention and had the end cap side connected at the u joint and no water was flowing out and was wondering what I was doing wrong until I took it apart and realized there was a clear end cap blocking the outflow.Would recommend it, i have it currently in my 55g tank, and am getting a 2nd one for my 75g tank.

I have no issue with the product, it works as it should. I docked one star because this bar should be included with the filter (like other brands).

I thought I had a defect because the end keep blowing off but actually it was my error in the install. Once I figured that out.. it works perfectly.

Works for my fluval 407 filter. I needed this because the original filter powerhead output was too strong. Now the filter output is evenly distributed, and my fish are happy. If you find that the flow from the spray bar causes a lot more debris to float around in your tank, then try reducing the flow on the canister filter directly. That worked for me, and now my water looks clear.

Great concept by Fluval, with the exception of one major safety issue. The end cap does not stay put! I went to feed my turtle one evening and water was just pouring out of the end versus spraying as it should through the manufactured holes, the end cap had come loose. Had my turtle been larger, he may of been able to eat the end cap which would have ended with a very large vet bill! This is not acceptable, and hopefully there is a fix in place in the near future. Until then, my spray bar has been retired for the safety of my little buddy. I’m sure you could tape it on, or find another way to get it to stay put, but eventually someone is going to have an accident either way.
