Yinleader 3000W 240V - 120V Step Up & Step Down Voltage Transformer Converter UK to US US to UK Dual 110V-120V & 220V-240V outlets

I bought this in hopes that it would allow me to use my US Dyson airwrap styling tool in Ireland at 220 V. The step down transformer totally worked! I tripped the circuit in my room at first, but after following the instructions EXACTLY, it worked like a charm! Because of the high cost of Dyson products, I would absolutely advise testing this on a less expensive US appliance first. I tested this on a cheaper US hairdryer, and when that worked, I moved onto testing it with the air wrap. I tried this set up on the advice of another US friend now based in Switzerland, so this seems to be a nice workaround for getting US Dyson to work in Europe!

Dangerous rubbish. The transformer did not work and tripped the domestic circuit when first switched on.

Have been using this converter for the past 12 months and “works like a charm”! good quality and low noise level.

All looks great, but not yet been tested as we need it for USA use

This unit has worked perfectly but only after I repaired the shipping damage. The tiny amount of styrofoam around this and the thin cardboard of the original packaging meant the unit was dented, the outlet on the back was broken from the back housing, and the on/off switch was cracked. I soldered and glued the wiring for the plug onto the unit and glued the plug onto the back so it is secure again. I was able to get the switch into the on position and then tighten it down again but it is hard to use so I simply use the on/off switch on my home outlet from now on. With these two things remedied it is working perfectly fine and I'm actually happy with it. Even though it is a 3000w unit it doesn't trip the circuit breaker. I've used all of my US power tools with this including an air compressor, skil saw, mitre saw, table saw, drill, and a floor scrubber.

Brought a USA coffee machine so had wrong plug on it but my god this does the job great so now have fresh coffee all the time

Quality stuff and not making a lot of noise in use; rather powerfull stuff and can be used also in countries with 110 Volt Systems!

I have had no issues after 4 months of intermittent use dedicated for my microwave and Dyson vacuum
