Logitech Type-S Keyboard Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 with S Pen, Black

Case: The case isn't a fancy leather or faux leather. Feels like rubberized plastic. Rigid and appears to be tough. Not concerned about protection when my tablet is in it. Oh and one last thing.... Order the right one. This is for the Tab A 9.7 not the s2. The s2 is 0.5" smaller. People need to stop buying the wrong product and giving poor reviews because they can't read.There's no closure device. Feels like there is some magnet but can't tell for sure. If you hold onto it you'll be fine, but I seriously doubt it would stay closed if you dropped it.Keyboard: The keyboard is just awesome. No Bluetooth lag, keys are low and positive when you push them. Shortcut keys are preset and work everytime. Minimal noise and NO connectivity issues! Reconnects on start up, on wake up and re-docking. Never an issue.I wish you could get a keyboard of this quality with a leather portfolio type case.If you are concerned about the cost when compared to the other cases, you will know why this one is so much more as soon as you use it. If you have the money buy this one, if not at least look at the zagg.

This keyboard is just WOW! First off, it hows the tablet very well without covering any portion of the tablet. Second, the keyboard size is perfect. It's big enough so it feels like you're typing on a full-size keyboard, but it's not so big that it overpowers the tablet and takes up unnecessary space. Third, because of the way the keyboard is designed it makes it very easy to type quickly and accurately. Finally, the keyboard has the Android shortcut keys, meaning that you can control music/movies, change volume settings, access email, etc. straight from the keyboard.This keyboard is a bargain and a perfect addition to the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. Though the keyboard cannot detach from the case, this has not been an issue. It's so lightweight and unnoticable that when you're not using it, you don't even realize it's there. If you're looking for a great keyboard case, this is the one to get!

Works like a GEM. one of the BEST bluetooth kyeboards I have ever used. It works as described, it now much better. I have had this product for the past several months using with zero complaints. It is welll well worth the price. The connection never drops and never has to be resynched, the keyboard itself is quiet and the keys are solidly built and easy to press and well spaced for typing. The dock holds the tablet firmly via magnet and allows the user the oppotunity to have the mini-laptop experience with this setup. An excellently built product.

I love this and the ease of using it. It is lightweight, but I do have a couple little pet peeves with it. My table battery last much longer than the keyboard battery, so I loose keyboard access sooner than I want sometimes, although it does last a long time. Also. it would be great if the keyboard was backlit. This is not something I thought to look for when searching so I guess this my fault for not checking the features. Overall thought it is a great and handy product. Very sturdy.

Ordered this keyboard because I was getting tired of pecking at the keyboard on my Samsung 9.7 Tab A. Was not sure what to expect quality wise, but was impressed when the item arrived. The keyboard is not large, but comfortable and there is ample finger room to type, not peck. The instructions were scant, a half page fold out with two thirds dedicated to none english buyers. There really are no precise written instructions, rather relying in large part on pictures that were less than informative. The whole "pairing" of the tablet to the keyboard is quite simple -1. Turn the bluetooth option on your tablet on;2. Insert your tablet into the keyboard case;3. Tip the keyboard into position on the black rail to hold it in the upright position;4. The keyboard will immediately begin to search for your device and when it locates it the keyboard device will show the pairing on the screen;5. Tap on that pairing showing on the screen and you will be prompted to enter a code and hit the return key. YOU MUST TYPE THE CODE SHOWN ON THE TABLET KEYBOARD, THERE IS NO LINE TO TYPE ON, NO VISUAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT THAT THE CODE IS BEING ENTERED, EVEN THOUGH YOU WILL NOT SEE YOUR TYPING, JUST TYPE IN THE CODE AND HIT RETURN;6. The keyboard device will link and activate and you are ready to go.Just that simple and easy. I will say that one device had to be returned because it simply would not maintain the pairing, but the second one works just fine. If you want something closer to a two handed typing keyboard for your Tab A I highly recommed this unit for its ease of use and quality. These keyboards are tablet specific so be sure you order the correct keyboard for your particulat tablet.
