**Q: Why is there maltodextrin in it?**
A: We use a small amount of maltodextrin because it's a preservative. Liquids require some sort of preservative. However, we transitioning back to potassium sorbate in all our products, as it’s more predictable and easier to work with.

**Q: where is this made and sourced? Is it organic?**
A: It says "Made in Canada" and "Organic fruit flavor."

**Q: Has anyone's skin lightened from this?**
A: No, and I don't believe that skin lightening is a side effect of this product.  I have been using it for over 2 years.

**Q: Is this packaged aluminum-free, or exposed to aluminum inner seal? Also, why "Cultured Dextrose" while advertising "sugar free"?**
A: I’m sorry I cannot answer your question about dextrose. I do not believe there is any aluminum exposure. I was encouraged to take this product by my immunologist. She recommended this brand specifically, knowing I am immunocompromised.
I hope this helps. I haven’t replaced mine recently because I had some concerns after reading about Cushings. I am finding out more and more about what is wrong with me because I have EDS.
