Yes, the bristles are very solid. Yes some autists might struggle with this sensation. The autist I know, however, loves this toothbrush and the bristle texture. That said, I think an electric toothbrush still gives a better clean so I'm not sure whether I would buy more.

I bought these for my daughter. She tried using them for 3 weeks but then gave up as she said that they were uncomfortable around her teeth.Having looked at the them, I think the brushes are too tight; not allowing for the bristles to properly wrap around the teeth.I think it could work it was a lot more flexible.

My teenager got a telling off on their last trip to the dentist - they often rush their brushing and saw these recommend on a dentists website so thought we would give them a go. The shape of the bristles allows both sides of the tooth to be brushed at once. They don't reach ll the way down to the gums on my teen so probably more suited to younger children but they are happy using them alongside their regular toothbrush. Will find out at their next appointment if it has made any difference!

These are horrible! The 'bristles' are thick and like plastic spikes. First use and they cut my daughters' gum. Not impressed.

They are not firm enough, their is 4 toothbrushes quantity does not mean quality. Don't buy them it's not worth it.

Absolutely Fantastic!!! These are fantastic my Nephew has Autism & my sister has been struggling to brush his teeth, & so did I when he stayed with me to give her some rest bite. So I decided to do some digging one night when he was in bed, & came across these on amazon obviously 😂 and they have made the world of difference to him having his teeth brushed!! No more kicking off, & no more having to hold him down just to brush his teeth…..he likes his teeth brushed now!!Winner, winner!! 🏆 😁
