Favorite gardening tool
Best gardening tool I own. Saw is terrific, digs hard soil better than a trowel, great at hacking down plants. Every machete I own is longer, thinner, and more flexible than this, so as just a machete it’s ok. But as a “big” knife it’s awesome. Thick blade, digs and chisels in a way normal machetes can not. Good weight and grip, way better quality than the price suggests. The saw is near having an actual limb saw with you. Doesn’t have the length or balance of 3’ machete but it will still chop and clear. I’ve cleared small maple trees (4-5” branches) with it pretty easy. Stays sharp, I sharpen it with my standard sharpener as needed. The smaller knife is super sharp, the handle is set up to easily make it a spear head, decent field knife. Have used it for skinning and cleaning, not quite what other knives gives you but in a pinch it’s great. Will probably never use it as a spear heads but for me it stays in the handle pretty well and is a nice addition. Overall this is a big solid heavy knife with a great saw, nice smaller knife, and the sheath is also higher quality. I use and abuse this knife with out issue and have for some time now. You want a 3-4’ flexible jungle clearing machete this isn’t it. You want a 18” giant survival knife this is it.

Nice Quality!
It came within a week of ordering it (super fast). The sheath is a nice plastic, so it will hold up over time unlike nylon sheaths. The Machete is Good quality and met expectations and surpassed them. The blade isn't AS sharp as I would like but after I sharpen it that won't be an issue at all. The little knife slides into the handle and clicks in for storage. The knife was sharp. So no need to be sharpening it more than the way it came. So all in all I give it a 9/10. Would have been a 10/10 if the Machete was super sharp. Worth every cent, nice balance in weight as well! Comfortable grip! Gonna buy the bigger 23" version as well.

Great North American Tool
I submitted a return for this, because the blade wasn't razor sharp. But, since I was outside playing with my daughter, I decided to torture test it. To my surprise, this machéte destroyed everything I used it on, including a 4_in diameter hardwood branch. Afterwards, the blade is still straight as an arrow, with just a few barely noticeable nicks. The digging point works incredibly well. You wouldn't need a shovel on a camping trip. The saw works relatively well. It's just tough going because the handle is made for chopping on the blade side. Make no mistake, this isn't a jungle machéte. It's made for camping in North American hardwoods & pine forests. So far, it excels at its intended use. The small knife in the handle sheath is nice for opening beers! I'm sure it would work well as a spear tip. I opened up the paracord and looped the small knife rear opening to the full tang rear of the machéte. Time will tell if the little knife cuts through the rubber handle. If so, I'll update the review. I'll also update the more I use it.The sheath and retention straps are superb. Hopefully the rivets are decent quality. I had to return the 1st order, because the package was busted, and the sheath hard plastic was cracked. The package was still busted on my replacement, but the sheath was okay. All I need now is a way to sharpen this tough, titanium bonded stainless steel.

Needs a beefier handle but still wicked sharp
This thing is very sharp, especially the back saw teeth, be careful on a back swing. It is also sturdy, you can feel the quality in the weight. The only reason for the four instead of five star rating is the handle, I just wish it was a bit thicker. I have larger size hands, and the handle just feels a bit thin to me. I would like more handle to feel I have better control of this very sharp weapon. Be careful drawing it out of sheath, the blade is so sharp that the nylon loops are in danger of getting cut by the blade when you draw it from the sheath. By the way the sheath is good quality hard plastic.

Awesome machete with hidden accessory knife.
Be aware that the smaller knife that is shown in the picture is hidden in the hilt if the machete. Awesome product. Does a good job, nice sharpness. Good for zombie apocalypse too...lol

A very versatile knife
It's excellent for clearing brush, the saw is good for small branches, and it stays sharp. The handle feels a little slippery when wet, but with self adhesive bandages and a lanyard loop it's not a problem. I guess my one other complaint is I wish they sold a replacement for the small bottle opener knife in the pommel. Overall the actual knife itself is amazing so no complaints there! It's stood up to some abuse so it's very durable, it's lightweight enough to carry, but hefty enough to do some light chopping. It's also very well balanced which is sort of a plus and a minus so that's why it doesn't really count as a complaint for me personally. And if you're wondering what I mean by that it makes it a very versatile knife not just a machete. However it doesn't really have that forward heft that it needs for heavy chopping so don't expect to be cutting down any trees bigger than your bicep! It's possible though if you don't have another tool like an axe or a folding saw (and all afternoon to spend) trust me I speak from experience!

GREAT QUALITY - GOOD PRICE
Promises to last a long time under heavy use.Rust resistance seems to hold as does the edge.

Hardcore!
Very useful tool for camping, clears brush and branches well. I brought it with me to a three day outdoor challenge and it was indispensable for cutting poles and stakes for a shelter. Has a very good sheath, far better than most machetes come with. The small knife is handy but does not replace a belt knife. The saw is aggressive and good for smaller branches and tight situations, but binds a bit when the cut gets deeper. Overall, solid and dependable, with a few extra tricks.
