Good product but.....
After having seen this tape used in a multitude of CC demonstrations I was quite enthusiastic about the purchase. I have found, though, that the removal of this tape, after the die and paper goes through the press, it is hard enough to remove that it will actually tear some cardstock and papers. Often the cut has to be repeated. Would opt for a less strong adhesive if it just came off easier.

Not what I wanted
I would not suggest this for creating a border around your artwork. When I removed this tape, it removed some of the paper with it. I've decided to use it for everyday taping items.

Not good
Bought this to use for my card making. I’d be better off buying painters tape. This rips the paper every time! I do not recommend this, should have returned it.

Not low tack enough
Too sticky for holding dies in place for cutting. Rips paper

Too sticky!
This tape is beyond sticky, it actually feels gummy. It tears at your paper and sticks to everything. I tried to use it for cardmaking and had to scrape it off of my dies. Unsure of how it received so many high ratings. Maybe the manufacturing process has changed, but I can't see this tape as being useful for anything.

THIS WORKS
Crafters Companion knows how to make a paper tape that holds elements in place. I use it to position my dies on paper before going through my BIG SHOT die-cutting machine. I also use it to hold a stencil in place. I reuse these several times. I did learn that it pulls up the design on some thin papers like magazine. (If, like me, you use magazine images in your journal, just plan ahead and use a liquid adhesive like mod podge)

Perfect for die cutting!
this is the perfect tape for die cutting. You need it to hold your die in place on the paper, but thrn you need to be able to take it off again without taking the paper fibers with it! This tape is designed to do just that.

Hard to see and didn't stick well
Ordered this because my beloved purple tape was no longer available. Thought it was a white tape not clear so for me it was very hard to see. Sometimes it stuck well other times it did not. It also picked up any small debris left on cutting plates.

Pay the extra for Scotch it's worth it
So I purchased the Scotch tape equivalent and this budget version. The Scotch tape came first and performed better than I had hoped for. Gripped the item well but then peeled off without any issues. This stuff is awful. It doesn't grip particularly well, yet leaves behind half of the glue substance on the item.It will no go i the bin.Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.Avoid this tape.

Not good under the pressure from a die cutting machine
I liked the ease of using a dispenser. I used the tape to stop metal dies from moving whilst in my Gemini. The tape peels of my project easily until under pressure in my die cutting Gemini. The tape then sticks to my project leaving residue or tearing my project

Perfect for sticking carpet to floor boards, but not for paper crafting.
I purchased this item as it states... "Crafter's Companion Low Tack Tape for Paper and Card Crafting Projects."It is definitely not "low tac" and not "suitable for Card projects" including temporary placements of stencils etc. It removes at least 2 layers of card from a 300gsm smooth card stock, rendering it expensively unusable. Thought I'd use it to stick a rubber stamp to an acrylic block, it stamped 20 cards and I've still got the problem of getting the 'low tac' off the stamp and acrylic block!

A bit too much tack
As the title says, I was expecting a bit less tack since the title says it's suitable for "Paper and Card". I use a 200gsm mixed media paper, smooth and sturdy, so I was expecting the tape to come off more easily, especially since I'm not pressing it all the way to the paper. However, sometimes it comes off easily and smoothly, sometimes...it tears bits of paper off, which not always can be fixed (depends on the artwork). I suspect it would work greatly with a canvas or really heavy, shiny watercolour paper, but just be advised it doesn't work that well on everything.Works great though as a way of keeping paper in place if you tend to trim the edges afterwards!

Not fit for purpose
I used the tape to mask off my very expensive 300 lb watercolour paper ready for painting. when I came to take it off again it pulled the top layer of paper off and ruined the painting very annoyed and disappointed total waste of money, time and materials. I will be returning for a refund not suitable for purpose and a big financial loss to me as the painting could not be sold in that condition or prints taken from it.
