Nest WiFi Point Genie

I am really impressed with this mount! I was hesitant at first, because when I first attached the mount to the point, it did not seem to click in and stay attached to the mount. However, once the power cable is wrapped behind it, the point then will not fall out, as it puts pressure on the mount and keeps it secure. I like the fact that you can either mount it vertically, but also horizontally. This mount is designed to do either, which is great if you have an object in the way. I highly recommend this mount, and it gets 5-stars from me. Note: this is for the Nest Point(s) only! This is not for the actual Nest router, as the router is a different size.

My husband and I recently installed the Google Nest wifi router/point system and were looking for flexible space saving alternatives to keep messy cords concealed. We came across the wifi point genie on another site which prompted me to do some additional research. We were thrilled to have found the exact same set on Amazon at a much better price point with quick delivery. Set up was quite easy and I love that we were able to mount our devices using the outlet Vs other options that may require drilling. I am also happy to report that the mounting system does not hinder the audio quality at all (we frequently play music using the “everywhere” group throughout our home). Overall we are very pleased and highly recommended!

This device got my Google Mesh Point off the table and on the wall. It installs easily and the wire neatly wraps in the space designated in the rear. Professional looking and the perfect solution for keeping the Point off the table and up on the wall.

This 3-pack was the best deal available. Easy to install, 4/5: If you haven't realized, the Google Nest Router does not fit on this, only the WiFi points because the router is slightly larger. The cabling is manually looped on the back of the mount to be flush against the wall. For someone a bit obsessed with things being neat, It'd be great if there were grooves on the back to guide the cabling. Stability, 4/5: The thickness of the mount is relatively thin to the point it feels cheap. It definitely did feel like it would crack when troubleshooting connection issues such that you have to pull the mount out of the socket. So long as you don't touch this mount again, it looks great! Easy to use, 5/5: The product does come with a simple instruction on how to install the mount with your Google Nest WiFi points but if you're having any troubles, there are videos online to help. This product is a clean addition to placing your Google Nest WiFi points but it could use some quality improvements in thickness and grooves for cabling management (albeit it is hidden in the back). I recommend setting up your Google Next WiFi point before you install it to the mount as any connectivity issues will have you disconnect the mount as the reset button is located on the bottom of the WiFi point. Repeatedly having to connect/disconnect will give you the feel that the thin plastic connection to the socket will crack.

I purchased the Google Point wifi extension bc I wasn't getting good service in the kitchen of my old apartment. I'm assuming bc phone track your every move, an add came up for this and I'm so happy it did! Not only do I not have to take up counter space (which is extremely limited to begin with), it completely hides the cord and makes it look flush with the wall. For someone that has OCD, this is a total win win for me. Though I will say, I did kind of struggle figuring out how to get it all out together correctly. I had to watch a YouTube video lol, but that does not take any stars away, I would absolutely recommend this, I'm so happy I found this and I couldn't imagine not having it!

Although I love the idea of this product, it does have a few negatives. Specifically the part that fits around the plug is very susceptible to breaking. See photo. Over the years I’ve order 3 replacements as each broke in the exact same way. Otherwise I have a good experience with these. If they resolved this part it would receive a much higher rating.

Gets the Google point up off table or counter and hangs neatly off an outlet taking up no space at all. And no unsightly wires. I had to hang it upside down ( because SOMEONE installed most of our outlets which I consider upside down) and I wasn't sure if it would work or not. Any place I wanted it wouldn't work as per instructions. But works just fine upside down. Nice and neat installation and saves space too.

My first order arrived damaged, but I sent an email to the customer service and got a response swiftly. They sent me a new one for free. The product itself is pretty good, and it works just as I expected. It’s a super good deal for the price and easy to use.

Works perfectly, flush to the wall. Snapped right in place, wire coils nicely rolled up behind. Made for the Nest wifi points, not router, as advertised. Don't understand all the other mediocre reviews. 100% satisfied

This is amazing, and I am upset I cannot buy more any longer. They work great. I despise cords and clutter, but my husband insists on having electronic crap all over the house. These outlet shelves made his obsession much more tolerable for me.

It’s perfectly made for Gen 2 Nest Wifi points. They are costly but value for money looking at its utility and space it saves.
