These pins are decorative and the pearl ones are elegant looking. They stay secure when used in material that isn’t too thick. I use them to pin buttonless sweaters and cardigans when I want to change up the look or don’t want to wear them open. The only downside is that that the pins are a little thick so if you use it on more delicate fabrics, it will leave a visible hole in the material. I made that mistake one time and after that only use these pins on fabrics and colors where any resulting pin hole would not be noticeable. Overall very happy with the purchase since these replaced safety pins for me.

Over the years, I’ve gotten a number of sweaters that don’t have buttons or zippers, or any closures, and just hang open. They’re really not as warm as the ones that have closures. I’ve tried sewing on snaps and hooks. This often leads to unattractive stretching of the sweater.This is a nice solution. They are a bit tricky to get in, because the post is fairly short. I did have at least one fall off, because the locking mechanism didn’t work properly. Still, I am finding them useful.They won’t work on very thick, heavy fabrics.I also use them on certain dresses that have a crossover V-neck , which are too plunging.They look nice. The assortment of colors and decorations means that you can find some thing that coordinates with your garment.

I love these, they are so helpful with dresses or tops. Helps keeps the girls covered up. And they blend in better than a safety pin, looks like a button or an accessory. I had several with me on a recent trip and a girlfriend borrowed one for her dress. Highly recommend this collection. Great value, great variety, fantastic quality!

The gems break off pretty easy because they're just glued on. They're not very strong, so if you are trying to pin something together and make it hold and it's not just for decoration, this is probably not the best product for you. Some of them are stronger than the others, so it's kind of a hit-or-miss.

I loved my dress but hate having to tie the belt in a bow or knot. I like a more slimmer look. So I looped the belt together, place the ties in front of each other and secured it with the pearl “tie tac”. The pearl matched my buttons exactly, the belt laid flat, and it looked fantastic!

I love these little buttons they keeps your sheer jacket closed so they won’t fly open 👍💕

These are really cute. The reason why I gave four stars instead of five is because some of the pins did not close properly.
