Child Mummy Costume Small (4-6)

Hi, this costume says it's a size 4-6. My son is a size 5 and this costume is very long in the legs on him. Luckily I can sew and just plan to hem the bottoms up several inches. He like it, although he does say it's itchy to wear.

My 4 year old got SO many compliments and it was such a unique costume. The arms and legs were too long, but I just cut them with scissors and left the raw edges. It worked for the look of the costume.

The smallest size was still too big for my petite 4 year old, but a little sloppy hem job by my inexperienced hands worked fine. There are no deocrations on the back, so I bought a roll of bandage from Target for $3, soaked it in coffee to match the beige color, then wrapped it around her to strategically cover up the poor hem job. The result - tons of compliments and at least 3 parents asking if I MADE the costume!

This item did NOT meet expectations. The foundation is super thin so you can see every bit of the clothing underneath. The back has no "mummy wrap cloth" on it at all, so the costume is a total fail from the back. The wraps hanging on the front didn't at all cover the foundation; it looked like this costume was 4th generation hand-me down that had gotten destroyed in the several previous years and only had .On the plus side, the costume was a great foundation for me to buy a $3 sheer curtain, rip it, and hot glue it all over the place. It ended up a great costume... but it took 3 hours of cutting and hot gluing to make it work. If you're looking for an out of the box mummy costume that looks great, this is NOT it.

This is a nice quality costume that may last for more than one Halloween. Fortunately after reading other reviews, I knew to purchase a size smaller than I needed. My son is days away from being 7 and is a little taller than a normal boy so I purchased the size 4-6. Fits perfectly though it is still a little bigger than I needed. I have no idea how this would fit on a 4 or 5 year old, they would drown in it. The mask isn't exactly what you see in the photo and leaves the face more exposed than what you see. Overall good purchase for the price.

I would definitely say this isn't true to size. It was huge on my 5 year old so buy a size down.

Great costume! My son is a size 6 and the 4/6 fit great. Little long, but no biggie.
