Natural Ice Medicated Lip Balm with SPF 30

My lips are soft because of this amazing lip balm! I found this stuff probably over 5 years ago when nothing else worked to keep my lips from not going chapped. I went on a buying spree of all the lip balms on the market at the time and this was one of the ones in my purchases and the only one I really liked that worked incredibly well. I was really bummed when they stopped carrying the "sport" type in retail stores. Lucky for me, amazon carries it! What really sold me on it is that it isn't sticky feeling. The "sport" kind with the spf 30 is thinner feeling than the regular. It goes on really smooth and thin and doesn't feel sticky or waxy. It's not a heavy lip balm at all but it WORKS! The cooling effect feels nice on my lips. I often buy this 12pk and gift them away in the winter months! But I really use it year round with summer sun protection. One of my nieces had really chapped lips, so bad I remembered that it was red and irritated and flaky around her lips too. She tried a lot of different lip balms but nothing really worked so I gave her a tube of this stuff and within a few days of continuous use, her lips healed up and she says this is the best stuff ever! Every time one of my nieces come over, if they see a tube of this stuff laying around, they will use it and sometimes swipe it! Now I make sure I stock up so I don't ever go without. There's a tube of it in two of the purses I rotate on the regular plus a tube with my makeup case, one on my night stand and one on my desk...there may be a tube in my winter coat too! If you want really soft kissable lips, give this lip balm a try. I really LOVE this stuff, I just ordered another 12pk! :D

This balm is the best you can buy and worth every penny. I will never go to any other product. It lasts a long time - even with regular usage. It doesn't harden up in severe cold (good for skiing and leaving in your car during the winter). It goes on smoothly every time, so it soothes chapped lips instead of tearing at them. Within minutes chapped lips feel better and within hours they are healed. SPF works -- I use this for summer outside activities and winter skiing. I've even rubbed it on my cheeks to soothe them. The smell isn't too strong or unnatural. You can actually drink right after putting this on without feeling like your lips are "goopey" or the product is wearing off. A definite must buy --- nothing else even remotely compares to this quality.

This is my favorite lip balm and so glad I could get it for such a great price and in bulk! I use the medicated stick on my dry nose also! It's smooth and soft, and doesn't feel sticky at all. The medicated part gives you a little tingle too.

The item is mis advertised...you only receive one lip balm NOT 12 as stated in the description. Needs to be corrected.

I bought the pack of 12 lip balms and really love it. I hadn't used it before, but I'm glad I bought it. I spend a lot of time outside in the summer, especially at the lake. I also took a couple of these with me to Cancun in March. It does a great job protecting my lips from getting sunburn. I use it every night before bed and I've been happy with the way it stays on throughout the night. I prefer this over the other brands I've used in the past - Chapstick, Carmex, Blistex, and others. I'm glad I bought the pack of 12 as I put them all over - the cars, cabin, bedroom, kitchen, work. I hope this helps. If you buy it I'm pretty confident you'll love it.

My lips get dry in the winter so I use this every night before going to bed. Sometimes I feel like they don't put as much product in the tube as they used to, though.

We cannot find this product in stores anymore. We buy it from Amazon in 12 packs so we won't run out. Made by Mentholatum, (no wonder it works) it comes in various SPF ratings. The 30 SPF works best for us. It applies easily even in cold weather. Softens and moisturizes lips. We use it for all outdoor activities: skiing, hiking, fishing, camping.....etc. The only con: It can melt and leak if left in a very hot car. Not really much of a problem. When I spend a lot of time in the sun, I often get lip sores. This product pretty much prevemts that from happenning. I apply it every hour or two. If I feel a sores coming on, I use TANAC. End of problem!!
