You will want to be careful around the beard with the shaver, but the trimmer can make clean straight lines. -- The Braun Team

Is this designed to shave bald heads?

If you use the regular shave attachment it certainly will work on a bald head-closest shave I’ve ever had on an electric—but I’m not sure if spending the money is worth that single usage. If you’re going to use it for bald head, face, stubble, beard trim, it is a great shaver. Really great. Hope that helps.
