Wonderful.These EnerGel pens were excellent. I heard a lot about these pens and wanted to try them. The writing is smooth and they don’t exert too much pressure on your hand.I have tried so many different pens, but I think these are the ones I always want to carry with me whether with my pocket book or my main notebook. The cost is too less when compared to pricier options.

Used to write with them long ago. Quite the best writing experience i have had, even compared to pens many times more costly. Even though the build is plastic, it doesn’t feel cheap. Very good to hold and the nib/ink is so fluid and smooth it feels like writing with a very good quality fountain pen without the added hassles. Also the ink is dark and bold without any skips or dryness. Highly recommended!

My child (in 6th grade) only uses this pen to write. Once, I tried to convince my child that there are many other great pens that can be tried out. I received the response that this pen was sufficiently thick, smooth (does not feel like scratching on paper), ink is dark & does not smudge. - Well I was happy to hear that he had touched the main points to look out for in a simple value-for-money everyday use pen.I wanted to put this to the test, so I purchased a set of different gel pens of Linc, Uniball etc. from a local shop to see if he could find any difference while writing. I personally tried out the various pens myself too and though I like fine point pens, I did agree with my 6th grader at the end of the experiment that Pentel Energel is indeed a very good value-for-money gel pen that writes very smooth even at different angles (upto 45 degree slant), wonderful for left-hand writers too as the quick drying dark ink does not cause any smears for leftys.My school time favorite pens are still available in the market; however I have found a new favorite thanks to my little one. Thanks to the pen, the kid is writing more often, this is great considering most kids now-a-days use tabs/mobiles/computers keyboards & voice typing instead of actual writing. I am ordering more as half the set is already used-up.
