The computer stopped right in the middle of class! Doom to the zoom! The battery is charged, DAD! My computer is broken! A quick look at google shows we have a better than even chance it’s the battery only. Software shut it down just like a Tesla when a cell goes bad. The battery came next day! Instructions on line made it easy to swap. It was identical to the original. And best of all it fixed the problem!

This is my first review for this product. As of now I have installed the battery for approximately 20 months and it would not be exaggeration if I said it was better than the original DELL battery. My operating system is Linux which does not drain your battery like Windows does with all the hidden and excessive apps running in the background. Yet, I have used my laptop for long hours each day (>10 hrs) and the battery has supported normal performance up to this date. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and I would highly recommend it.Quality products deserve promotion!!

**Updated July 2021** I replaced my factory battery with this one in June 2021. After a couple of initial drain/charge cycles, I was getting 2-3hrs of Youtube, and over 3hrs of other tasks like email and websurfing. This level of performance lasted almost exactly one year before the battery suddenly stopped taking a charge. There was minimal decline until a few weeks before that point, when we noticed reduced life.We also noticed during that last few weeks that the mouse touchpad stopped clicking properly, which was a result of one of the cells swelling to about twice its original thickness underneath it. Fortunately this bulge didn't seem to cause any irreversible harm.I decided to purchase another replacement battery, hoping it gives similar life. A quick annual fix for 30-40 bucks seems acceptable to me given that the computer is otherwise perfectly functional.For additional context, the laptop is a 13" Dell i5 with SSD, running Windows 10 Home, "balanced" power setting, and low to moderate screen brightness. This computer gets daily use and is plugged in >80% of the time.

Just installed this so I cannot talk about the long term YET. My previous battery would be plugged in for the entire day, then unplugged to move the laptop from bedroom to living room and arrive dead right away. I had replaced that one about a year ago (Jul 1 2021, replaced Jul 5 2022), so I think that's the life of these things when the laptop remains mostly plugged in.Swapping it to this one was super easy. Comes with a magnetic screwdriver so the tiny screws don't go everywhere, and it comes in plastic packaging that protects it very well. Installation was just a matter of taking off screws and replacing the part, and putting the screws in.Follow up-- it works better than expected so far. Once calibrated as stated (I did the cycle 4 times, dropping it to 20%, charging it to 80%), it now can accurately state how long it will last. Seems to be lasting around 2hrs at better battery (not the lowest setting), which makes me quite happy.

Had good battery life when I originally replaced the battery. However around ~11 months later it will no longer hold a charge. Laptop and the will die within seconds of being unplugged.

It fits perfectly with my laptop, has long battery life and is easy to install, is affordable, and has 100% battery health without any problems. Now I can use my laptop again!
