After finally getting tired of straps falling off my yoga mat I invested in this bag and I'm not sorry I did.It's sturdy and the design is stunning. My mat is extra thick (1.5cm) and a smidge longer than most and although I need to wrap it up tight, it fits in this bag fine. Regular mats will have no problems! There's also space at the top to pop in a couple of small extra bits like a phone and purse as the ad suggests.There are two pockets, one flush against the mat which zips up and another that expands out from it, which is secured with velcro. Given what a tight fit my mat is I mainly use the velcro pocket and even without a zip, it's pretty secure.The carry strap can be lengthened or shortened, so you can carry however you like. I lengthen it right out and carry my mat across my back to leave my hands free. Perfect for walking to class!Really impressed with this.

Love the design on the front. Plenty of room for mat, plus small towel. Also outside zip part for keys and another external part for bottle or phone. Have a 73cm wide mat and this fits in with a few inches to spareZipper, strap good quality and very easy to carry

The size is good to fit my Pilates mat. There are also 2 useful pocket on the outside of the bag, one with a zipper and the other Velcro. A good buy.

This bag accommodates a thicker yoga mat. There is space at the end of other things like a towel, etc. A small zipped pocket for keys & purse & a larger pocket with velcro closure - can hold a water.bottle.Thick material & fels like it could be waterproof but not tested yet.Adjustable should strap.Looking forward to testing if its waterproof - this is UK after all 😉

I love my new yoga bag. It's big, my yoga mat fits without a problem with yoga towels. The colour is beautiful.

I looked at everything I could find the get a good bag that suited my needs , This went from a straight forward mat bag to something that would carry clothes , a block , with a wet compartment , I researched everything, in the end for me I wanted a bag that would carry a mat , car keys , membership card , also something that folded down to fit in a locker , I noticed there are some that top load which I thought would be fractionally harder to load and get out and felt the ones with a full length zip either with a u shape zip or full length and straight across the end were best to just drop the mat in without chafing on the zip with a soft rubberised yoga mat , I wanted a bag that would hook on my shoulder vertically which I think is much easier to carry without catching cars, doors, turnstiles and people, The Gonex was reasonably priced and the biggest influence was customer rating at 82% - 5 star, I didn't want a cheap item where the zip breaks in 6 months time and very few had that kind of ratingNot the best choice of colours , I bought the blue as it was the most subtle when it arrived it is ideal I hope this helps you choose what's beat for youI'd buy again

Originally I bought another yoga bag, but it was meant to be carried horizontally. I realized I wanted one that carries vertically, because it is easier to store in my small closet space. I leave my standard size travel yoga mat in the bag with a few other goodies, so this is ready to go whenever we are going on a trip. My regular mat stays at home so when we get back, I don't have to worry about washing my mat before I put it back into regular use. I can easily fit the mat, a yoga towel, a bottle of mat spray, some resistance bands... basically anything else you need for your practice. The bag is beautiful and very well made. It is a thick canvas material in a nice aubergine color. It seems like this bag will be with me for many great adventures. There's even enough room to put your yoga shorts or leggings, etc. inside the rolled up mat so you don't have to take up extra space in your regular suitcase. It has a couple of pockets on the outside too for tucking in small things. Everything you need is right at your fingertips!

I've been using this bag for a few weeks now I'll go to yoga four times a week and so far it seems to be a good quality if it's my mat nicely has a few pockets for smaller items so I'm happy with the product!! I chose the peacock design and it's exactly as it looks in the photos. The customer service people reached out to me because they were worried about possibility of their item being late, but that was not the case (I was not worried at all), but it arrived on time. Either way, they were very courteous and I appreciated the 'heafs up' communication.

Die Yogatasche ist wundervoll - das Design ist schlicht und schön, die Nähte sind ordentlich und fest vernäht, im Innenraum ist noch Platz für ein kleines Handtuch und eine Wasserflasche.In der kleinen Tasche passen Handy und Schlüssel rein - perfekt für mich um im Park Yoga zu machen und keine zusätzliche Tasche mehr zu benötigen!Absolut empfehlenswert !!!Meine schönste Yogatasche bisher :)
