It's possible to cram a Samsung Galaxy S3 into this, but it's clearly not made for the S3 phone. I took the protector off the phone just to see if it would fit, it doesn't.

I've used this case for my Galaxy S 3 and my phone fit perfectly even with the Otter Box Protector on the phone. I always buy a spare case as a backup. I'm now using this case for my Samsung Galaxy S 5 and it also fits snugly with the Otter Box. I would recommend this to anyone who owns one of the larger Android phones. This was the case I wanted which fits my Samsung Galaxy S3 perfectly, but the one I received was whoppy-jawed. The flap was off at an angle and the magnets didn't line up. I tried to move them around but it wasn't going to work, so I sent it back. Bought one at a retail establishment to make sure I got a good one.

This case at first fit my phone right since I have a rubbery type case on the phone before putting it into this but it gets used to it and works completely fine. You get used to pushing out the opposite side slot so no problem. I love this case! I use it on my Sharp Aquos Crystal Android by the way.

Bought these for the last 6 years because they are the most comfortable and easy to use.I wear one of these everyday for 8 to 15 hours a day. They last about 18 to 20 months of rough use. So I only use this brand.

I love this case. I have an iPhone 4S and I needed a case that I could use with my LifeProof case. I did not want the LifeProof Holster because of the bulkiness and I don't wear on my hip nor do I wear belts, but this case is awesome. The case is real leather and much less expensive than at Best Buy. Great buy. Thanks Amazon!

I use this for my S3 and it works perfectly w/o a protector case on the phone and I gave it 5 stars as a well built and stylish. Still works with the case on it, just a tighter squeeze to get in and out, but not a reason to downgrade a fine product.

Just about the perfect fit for iPhone 5 with Lifeproof case....a bit snug for a week or so...now fits just right
