Stadler Form Oskar Big Evaporative Humidifier by Swizz Style The Oskar Big Evaporative Humidifier from Swizz Style is an energy-saving humidifier that is designed for rooms up to 650 square feet. The integrated hygrostat allows you to set the humidity at 40% 45% 50% 55% or continuous use. Because this is an evaporative humidifier it may take 2-3 hours to achieve the desired level of humidity. Essential oil can be use to distribute fragrance around the room. Simply place 2-3 drops of fragrance into the fragrance container. Water is easily added to the unit. Just open the filling opening and use a bottle or can to fill it with water. If you are using fragrances be sure to remove the fragrance container before adding water. This humidifier is safe to use with water from a water softener. The filter cassettes should be replaced every two months. Do periodic cleaning by removing the filter cassettes and descaling if necessary. Fully rinse and dry the lower part before using it again. The unit comes with the patented ionic silver cube. The ionic silver cube helps keep the water clean by releasing bacteria-inhibiting silver ions into the water. The ionic silver cube should be changed yearly at the start of the dry season.
