Worth the money, great product, works well, fast, and with no effort needed
This smart charger/rejuvenator works very well. It analyzes battery condition then performs what is needed, whether charging (which it does quickly and well) or desulfating. I've tried it on a number of batteries. On sulfated batteries that did not have a shorted cell, it worked well. When a battery is sulfated, it has white lead sulfate in battery cells. It's an insulator that block the plates from taking up charge. This charger removes it through voltage pulses that break it down and return the sulfur to the acid. During the conditioning process by the charger, I checked, looking through battery cell fill ports and over time saw the sulfate disappear and the battery regained chargeability. The process works great in car batteries and deep cycle batteries, I tested on both. Also it regenerated several (sealed) motorcycle batteries and has saved me having to spend $180+ for three new batteries. This is a great product, it shows battery condition, state of charge in 25% levels, and shows when it is automatically reconditioning a battery with desulfation pulsing. Reconditioning on my test batteries went fast, a couple of days each to get them back to nearly full capacity, and the batteries kept their ability to charge and hold charge.I have no negatives about this product, but I note that when a battery is very far discharged, the product may show it as bad and it will refuse to charge it, but if you can bulk charge the battery up a bit first, this charger will grab on and begin charging and reconditioning automatically. Some batteries cannot be recovered because they have shorted cells; no device can fix that when lead mossing bridges plates, not even this one.Summary: it works, it's easy to use, and it saved me a lot of money not having ro buy new batteries. Worth the money.

XC100-P Great little charger
I bought this charger as I have 2 large deep cycle batteries in my boat for my trolling motor that would not take a charge. I was reading up on the web about how to make a battery desulfator when I came across this charger. I figured for about 20 bucks more than it would cost to make a desulfator I could just buy this and save myself the time. My boat batteries would not hold beyond 50% capacity. Each battery tested as bad. After topping off the water in each battery this is my results:72 hours on charge bad battery light activated. Unplugged charger moved to battery 2 after 72 hours charger indicated 100% charged. Charger moved back to battery 1. After 72 hours charger indicated 100% charged. I removed charger and used load tester on trolling motor. Displaying 75% capacity. allowed to sit for 1 week. Each battery testing at 12.18vdc load test at 75% capacity. Going to place back on charger and see if it will restore remainder of capacity.(UPDATE:)After about a Month of moving the charger back and forth from battery to battery the load tester now indicates 100%. Now I gotta get my butt on the water and time the longevity of the batteries. This thing has saved me a few hundred bucks in trolling motor batteries. Of course they will never be as good as brand new but I have definitely found my new charger. I plan to buy 2 more use as a 3 bank charger for all my batteries.I think this is well worth the money oh and buy a set of pigtails for each battery it's easier that way.(Update:)So I moved and when I did we just tossed this guy in the compartment on the boat which was parked outside at the new house for a month before it got touched. Well to my dismay this charger was in about 8" of water by the time i got to it. After letting it sit out and dry completely it seems to still work just fine... that about made me cry...(Update:)Almost a year later thought the batteries were useless So I just bought a new set of batteries to put in my boat. As an experiment I topped off the water in the cells with some magnesium sulfate water solution shook them up and through this charger back on them and after a few cycles of saying bad battery one of them is now charge to 100%. I might put that one in the kids powerwheels. Now going to see what happens with the other one.Going to buy a 20amp on board charger for the boat but this guy works good for maintenance non for recharging trolling batteries though.
