HTC Wildfire S Prepaid Android Phone
This is a good all around smart phone it's a small phone packed with a lot of features too. I like that this phone has all the features that all the other smartphones have and the CDMA SIM card compatabilty that I haven't seen in any other smartphones rather it's a prepaid phone or a contract phone. I would recremend this phone to any one who is looking for a good all around prepaid smartphone this phone has all the features you could possably want in a smartphone and at a realy good price too. In fact I'm going to buy this phone for my nice so she can have a good And relieable phone to use when she goes to collage in the fall. That's how much I like this phone. I'll probably be getting one for my nefffew when he graduates high school too.

worst choice
The internal memory is so low, it's almost unbelievable. You really cannot remove any of the many factory installed bloatware programs (like Peep? I guess it's Twitter's weirdo cousin or something. Random programs like that are there to stay) And almost no app you want can be moved to an SD card. It will truly hold only 3 or 4 apps successfully. I thought it was possible that the other reviewers were exaggerating over just how low and prohibitive it is really but they are all so right on. I literally have to clear out the memory every day (which is a pain because all your passwords, histories, ALL browser information disappears) or the phone will freak out and not sync your mail and keep annoyingly alerting you to low memory. Many times my phone will not even ring and go directly to voicemail but that's probably more of Metro's fault and not necessarily the phone. I often have to restart the phone because the internet will flat out just stop working at least a few times a day when the phone seems to get overwhelmed. The only positive things I can think of is that the phone can keep a charge alot better than other smartphones especially with JuiceDefender installed, you can store pictures/videos on the sd card, it does hold Wifi connections decently, and I like it's size. I feel like it's way too expensive for what you recieve. HTC is a brilliant operating system, I've owned the EVO 3D and loved it but this phone is just the worst. Maybe ok for a child's first cell phone but that's it.

Good enough for a first android phone
HTC Wildfire S Prepaid Android Phone (MetroPCS)As with most prepaid android phones, don't expect it to be any where near as good as phones such as an iPhone, Galaxy, or most other contract phones. The battery life on standby has lasted about 8 hours, with continuous text around 3-4 hours. Talk time would kill the battery at abou 1 1/2 to 2 hours if you're likely. Depending on the prepaid carrier expect a variety of bloat ware, constantly slowly the device even after forcing close such apps. Voice quality is decent when the device decides to function somewhat properly. Not that great experience, but was expecting more considering the short experience with other HTC products and recommendations from friends and coworkers. As a prepaid android set I would recommend this to teens and folks who aren't familiar with the operating system. If you have experience with android devices and want to cut your bill with a prepaid service I would look else where.

Great phone
I have had the same phone for the past 5 years(Motorola SLVR). I have not upgraded do to the fact that all the phones on the market have been getting bigger. I think personal electronics should be small, sleek and brilliant. Then, I found the HTC Wildfire S. I devote my time to REAL life contact and in saying that all the video media streaming is not of big interest to me, but this phone can access youtube with par to subpar resolution due to pixilation with minor delay. The installed Goolge maps feature is perfect for finding my way around town, home and away. Its very convenient. I upgraded my sd card to a 32g card, the phone comes with a 2gig card, I have almost 2000 songs that I can listen to while driving via the 3.5mm output jack. all n all its everthing I need to keep me updated with current information(weather, news, location, social networks). although there is a couple of issues that I feel should have been included like, a note pad for messages, an audible alert when a call/message has been missed but these functions can be downloaded from the android app store. Im satisfied with this purchase.

Great phone
It's a great dinky phone. I mean its a Metro phone with no contract so of course it's gonna be dinky. For the prince its really modest. It runs app's well. Run low end games really well like 99c games or 1.99 games. Video streaming is well it does need the ability to update adobe flash. Recommend this phone if you want an android to read ebooks, play low end games, music, & streaming. Can't really ask for much since its a metro. I advice you all to buy an DROID from verizon and flash it over to MetroPCS it is way better than this and around the same price range as well.
