ARTECH Keyless Electronic Keypad Deadbolt Lock ADC-TP

Installed lock around January 10 and it stopped working on January 28. Approximately as long as one reviewer said his batteries lasted. Replaced with new batteries and it beeped properly but keypad still did nothing. Arranged returned and removed unit. We had about a 10 foot covered vestibule over the door, so there is no way rain or snow hits the door. However, the temperatures were below freezing for the entire time. When I removed the unit, the keypad was covered with moisture. The rubber gasket was in and firm; it appeared the cold handle was just drawing moisture from inside the house. Let it dry out but the key pad was dead. There were no numbers to call the company and get help. Returned it. Might work well in Florida but if you put it during the summer, in northern climates, you may not this problems until the winter. Actually worked well and we really enjoyed it - our dogs can open the handicapped knobs and we just wanted to be able to deadbolt the door when we were outside.
