Bubbles have a sort of magic for children and additionally for adults too, and this bubble machine will not disappoint.This is a great gift for any young boy or girl, and an appropriate gift for a two or three year toddler up to at least 5 years old. This is a unique item to please both boys and girls in that age bracket and the three times that I have given a bubble machine, it has always been a tremendous success.General Description:The ‘My Bubble Machine’, has an approximate 8 ½” height, which includes the handle at the top. It has two different options for power, an INCLUDED electrical cord with an adapter with a ‘jack’ plug to fit the unit, or 4 ‘C’ batteries. The battery compartment is below the yellow flip-top cover and there are no screws to undo. Therefore, a screwdriver is not required, and inserting the 4 ‘C’ batteries is fast and simple. The batteries are not included and however, the electrical adapter does come with the bubble machine. I love this versatile power source. Electricity is more economical, but the battery operation provides portability and therefore the bubble machine will work outdoors, where there is no electrical power source.In addition, INCLUDED with the bubble machine is a medium size container of bubble solution (8.11 fluid oz. or 240ML)The bubble machine is made of a hard plastic, and it seems durable, as it has dropped once or twice, and yet, it continues to run. Its entire construction is round and smooth with no sharp edges to cause any injury.The little motor hums, the front wheel revolves, and streams of bubbles blow out from this machine. This little plastic bubble machine has a small handle at the top, easy for little hands to transport the machine from one place to another.The bubble solution pours into a very small funneled spout in front of the bubble machine. There is a yellow press button along the back top, which controls the power to an internal fan. This blows the bubbles through 10 little revolving wands along the front of the machine, and they pour out with consistency, no waiting, no lags, just millions and millions of perfect bubbles.Therefore, it only takes three fast and simple steps to make lots of bubble fun.1. Plug the ‘jack’ into the unit and plug the cord into an outlet.Alternatively – insert 4 ‘C’ batteries, in the battery compartment2. Pour some bubble solution through the funnel spout in the front of the unit3. Press the power button in the back of this unitTo remove and clean the Bubble Machine – the ‘bubble solution reservoir’, is under the battery compartment. To remove the battery compartment a Philips screwdriver is necessary for the four inserted screws. Alternatively, the bubble solution will pour out from the front.I have bought three different ‘Bubble Makers’ and the ‘My Bubble Machine’ is superior to the others, it spews out better bubbles and at a much faster rate.Although this bubble machine is for children, we adults like it too, as it’s hard to resist catching the bubbles when they blow in our direction.

Wow....tons of bubbles, I did not expect that.I really liked the fact that it came with a "wall-wart" adapter, saves on batteries.I also like that you can use batteries (4 C, not included) for portability.This thing spits out a ton of bubbles and doesnt use much solution.

Lasted one Summer. Tried to use it today and the wand assembly was not spinning. I took it apart and saw that the *two* rubber belts that allow the motor to drive a gear assembly that ends up driving the wand spindle have completely dry-rotted and were laying at the base of the unit. Shame, I really liked this thing.UPDATE 7/10/2017I replaced both belts with the white belts available from Lego. They are much higher quality. If you don't mind taking this thing apart to upgrade the belts, I highly recommend replacing the belts. 4 screws in the top assembly. 4 screws to remove the gear assembly. And 2 screws to allow the gear assembly to separate. Now that this thing is fixed, I am satisfied with it.

I absolutely loved this little gadget! It is a great hit among the toddler through big kid community. I was hesitant to get it at first because of the mixed reciew, but I'm so glad I went with my gut and got it.First off, you can find a bubble machine at the local Walmart or even Dollar General for under $10, not bad. However, you also have to buy minimum 4-6 size C/D batteries (plus the bubble solution) and replacements if you want the bubbles to last your entire event. This brings the price of your $10 Walmart bubble maker to about $30!! But that's not all, you still need to continue to buy the batteries if you want to give it future use. This nifty machine and model solves that problem because it brings a plug-in electrical adapter!! (You do have the option to put batteries too, just in case).It also brings an 8oz bottle of solution that will last a few long hours. However I do highly recommend you order it with the gallon of your favorite bubble solution. The last thing you want is to end the best time of your kiddos life because the bubble solution ran out.Secondly, this is a high performance bubble maker. It makes sooo many bubbles in a short amount of time quickly filling up the are where it is blowing. I used it at the park during my baby shower and even with the wind the entire area where the kids were was quickly covered in bubbles.All the kids love it and the parents admired it too because of the ability to plug into the wall. Purchased this machine last month, produces a ton of bubbles! We've grown to take care of our bubble machines because they have a habit of breaking on us very quickly. Went to use it today and the fan is working but the wands aren't rotating. Maybe we've gotten a faulty machine, but I'm not happy with this purchase. We've only gotten a few uses out of it.

Fantastic output. Design flaws shortened life.To fill the hopper, you pour liquid into a receptacle that sometimes allows it to leak into the part of the machine where the motor is. Even being careful, this is easy to do. the hopper needs re-filled often. When the machine stopped working I took it apart and was pleased to find the liquid had never actually compromised the motor or other parts, and has pooled harmlessly on the bottom of the chassi, but an o-ring had broken. It was the one responsible for delivering motion from the drive shaft of the motor to the fan, and had to be installed before the motor; it would have been very difficult to replace even if I had another one. The motor also stopped working for unidentifiable reasons. If this machine had lasted for more than several months I would buy another one. But it is not worth it. It isn't the cheapest thing out there, but not worth the price, since it only lasted a little while. Excellent output. easy to take a part. Portable, and convenient. I love the idea. Too bad.

Really disappointed. I ordered this product in July. I have sick family and have been in and out of hospital all summer (Sister in Law with cancer and Dad with amputations) I wasn't able to open and use this until end of August. It didn't work. I tried in September to return it and they said it was past return date. I'm sick that I paid $80 for a bubble machine that doesn't work. I've tried getting Amazon to step in and they didn't help me either. Disgusted.
