Yes they all came painted. Overall it makes a great space for my two cats.

Is the fence railing on the outside second level wide enough for an average cat to lounge there?

The second level fence is only right in front of the opening it doesn’t go around the side. I was VERY disappointed in this house! I had it on my covered porch and it turned to mold and floors fell apart. It lasted 9 months.
