I can’t use any other razor! The vibration is key to a painless comfy shave! The moisture strip is perfect. Me and my 12 year old love this razor!

I like oscillating razors. This one burns through batteries quicker than the one without the trimmer. The trimmer end is kind of junky and I don't recomend using it as I managed to cut myself.

I ordered this to replace my Schick brand razor, basically identical in appearance. After many years of use my Schick is looking a little beat up so I decided it was time for a new one, the Schick mind you has given me many years of service with ZERO issues aside from the normal battery change. Unfortunately, appearance is where the similarity ends. The vibration of this razor this is MUCH less than the Schick one. Worse yet, after one week of use I had to go back to my original Schick razor because this "new" one crapped out on me in the shower twice now. I do not recommend.

I like a vibrating razor not because they shave closer — in tests apparently they do not — but because I like the feel of them on my skin better than the scraping of a normal razor. The Wilkinson gives a good shave and feels good while shaving with it. I've occasionally used the trimmer option and it worked well too. Plus the blades are cheaper than the rip-off prices of the major brands.But pretty much five months to the day, the switch broke. Now the only way to turn it off is by taking the battery out. In the scale of life's challenges, that doesn't even register. But since it is a key piece of the razor's functionality, I'm taking off a bunch of stars.

I love the feel of the razor but the power doesn't work after just a few shaves. Replaced the batteries, but it did not help

my old Wilkenson Sword razor finally quit working, I was really happy to see I could get a replacement.Update 06/20/2021 the on off switch quit working; now the only way to turn it off is to remove the battery. So I reduced my rating from 5 stars to two stars

This razor came with a water stained package and a AAA battery that was completely corroded. The blades were rusted from the water damage. Needless to say it went directly to the trash.

Bought this just over a month ago. I've always previously used Gilette products and never tried anything else. Decided to give this a shot whilst waiting to get new blades for my Fusion ProGlide (FPG).It has quite a different feel compared to the FPG whilst shaving but the end result is pretty similar. One thing it does better is that the moisturising strip lasts a lot longer than on the FPG (which tends to last around 5-6 shaves at most). After almost a month of using it (around 15 shaves) the moisturising strip still moisturises the face as well as the first time.The handle is quite a bit bigger but comfort-wise it's fine. One advantage of the FPG is the rear blade which is missing here but in practice you can still shave tight spots like under the nose without flicking the moisturising strip back.The blades are considerably cheaper than the FPG too (which also has a lot of fake blades in circulation as I discovered to my cost).Between the two razors I would rate the FPG slightly higher when using a new blade but the Hydro 5 blades last longer and are cheaper so I think it's better value in the long term. Recommended!
