Nice case for the money, happy with purchase
I purchased this case for a iPad mini w/Retina in BlackDelivery with Prime was quick as alwaysThe Pro's- very nice soft touch material. nice finish with no hanging threads or tears- when converted to a stand, its pretty sturdy in either position but can fallover if not careful- looks very nice, almost like a book/journal- holds the ipad very securely. If dropped, it will not fly out of the case- all the cut outs line up for headphones, buttons, screen, etc perfectly- very light weight, adds very little weight to the ipad minCons- Although it was wrapped in plastic when it shipped, the inside of the casewas scuffed and had a black smudge on it- there is no strap to hold the cover in place. It uses a magnet but it doesn't workall of the time. Would have been nice to have a secure strap around the cover to keepit from flying open during a fall/drop- minor con, the stylus loop can get annoying sometimes. I will be buying a stylus soon soit may not be so annoying if it ends up being useful- the flap used to hold the cover in a "stand" position looks like it'll get loose over time orwith heavy use. Also, when used for extended periods of time, it'll take a while for the flapto return to being flush against the case. You can lay it down flapside down to help it returnback to normalOverall, it is a very nice case. Looks nice and elegant, like you are carrying a book.Aside from the damaged inside cover and the lack of a strap for the cover, its a nice caseespecially at this price point. I'm happy with my purchase

Great case, Great price, only one small gripe.
This was the first case I decided to buy for my new ipad mini w/retina. Let me start off by saying that the case at time of purpose was 7.99 with prime eligibility which is an absolute steal for this quality of case. The material feels fantastic , looks great and for all purposes feels and looks like a case that should cost $60-70. My only gripe is that it seems that the magnets used to auto sleep/wake the device are a little too weak. I've noticed a few times that I'll close the case and the ipad didn't go into sleep. It seems like the top flap of the case is just a couple millimeters short on the right side of the top cover because if I pus the top cover flap is pulled just a little bit farther so that it covers just a millimeter or two farther than when it closed naturally from the magnets, it successfully puts the device to sleep.I'm hoping this issue may resolve itself after some time of normal usage with the case, however if the issue continues to persist, it may be quite an annoyance,I'd absolutely recommend this case for as cheap as it is. No use spending 20+ dollars on a case that looks and feels worse than this. Just beware of your ipad not auto-sleeping when closed.

Very good case for the price
This is a medium weight, adequately protective case for the new mini and I like how it frames the window all the way around and securely holds it in place; no slippage with this design. This is important for this lightweight device which does not do well with the other type of case where the bottom pulls out and you have the two grooves to choose from and the corners are just held lightly in place. That is the type of case I have (and love) for my iPad and I bought one for my daughter's mini and she has had problems with it staying put in the groove because the mini is just not heavy enough. This Fintie may not offer the alternate angle but you can switch it upside down and have it just slightly lifted at about 3 inches which is good for lap use or typing at a desk. One little problem I am having though is the auto on/off function doesn't always work on mine. Sometimes when I close the cover it won't turn the unit off, I have to press it down on the top right to hear the off click, not that big of a problem.

Pretty good for the price.
The back of the case feels really hard and could for protection and the magnet on the screen cover is strong enough to stay closed but occasionally the cover will move a little and turn the screen on when it's still closed which isn't ideal.i bought this one because it folds into a stand similarly to a case I had on an older ipad so I like the folding stand. Good feeling material, nothing feels very cheap or that it will disintegrate but I will update if it eventually does. Another inconvenience is that the case blocks the power button since the power button is no longer on the very top of the device and is now slightly tilted back. Other than that the volume, home button and toggle switch are all easily accessible. The case does not interfere with the sides of the screen either. The camera hole on the back almost is in view of your lens but if it is you just adjust the ipad in the case and all is fine.I'd give a 5 star rating if the power button was more easily accessible and if the cover didn't turn the screen on when it is closed.

Great case!
My old case was worn down after 4 years, and it kept falling out. I’ve had this for 3 years now, and while it didn’t last as long in optimal condition as my first one, I can tell you it will never fall out! No matter how hard you may treat your iPad mini, this design ensures it will never come out. The worn part is at the right-side edges, where the little, circular magnets in the corners are. That’s come apart and the magnets sift around now, but it doesn’t affect opening and closing, although that part is a little worn too. I’m still happy with this products. It has protected my mini for many years, through all the times it’s been dropped, thrown, and bounced around. Would recommend.
