Graham Farish 370-160 Castle Pullman Train Set (DCC-Sound)

This train set is an absolute delight and the sound coming out of the engine is astonishing. The engine perform like the real thing where you have to plan the stops ahead of time. You can even hear the fireman scraping of scooping the coal on the footplate. This is not a toy and the train is very delicate to handle and absolute care in putting it onto the track has to be done with care. The only negative is perhaps more track with points could have been included in the box and the fixing of the power clips were difficult to attach and too much pressure might have damaged the track. The E Z controller is easy to use but only controls the engine and nothing else. i.e. points and signals. All in all I am please I purchase it but the set is very expensive.

This trainset is simply fabulous. It is what trainsets should have been like when us 60 year olds were kids. Very high quality train and carriages... the rails fit together easily and it is complete with a decent dcc controller. But the real difference is the sound... it is such fun & changes with the speed of the train etc... quite loud so really adds lots of atmosphere to your layout. Well worth the money. Arrived promptly and well packaged.

My husband has not stopped playing with the train and adding to it easily. He is extremely pleased with the whole package.

All good model railway equipment.

Not over impressed with the badly fitting track, very poor engineering.Over priced somewhat I think.
