BlocCobra Sunglasses

Having owned a slightly similar design of Sunglasses for over 10 years (Foster Grant which cost around £10 and I mention this that despite heavy use, Fishing, Driving etc, I do tend to look after them) which I was very impressed with, and having eventualy decided to replace them I recently purchased a replacement pair from Boots the Chemists own range which cost £35. They lasted approximately 1 week. I replaced them with yet another pair from Boots which lasted around the same period. I then purchased a pair of Fila "marked down from £80" which lasted, and I kid you not, 1 days wear. All 3 pairs failed for the same reason: a soft plastic frame and ear piece which has a relatively large silver bolt to hold them together which causes the hinge plastic to fail, the hinge designs itself is also poor. Though the other half does often remind me that I have a big head I don't believe that this caused the problem(s).On receiving the Bloc Cobra, which I have worn heavily for some weeks now, the first thing that stands out is the sheer quality, design and finish of the product. They are made of a tough plastic and the hinge design looks extremely rugged - they must be as they are still in one piece. I'm really very impressed and at this price point I can thoroughly recommend them. I find them very comfortable for long periods and just yesterday wore them for approximately 8 hours driving in very warm weather. Strangely enough, and I've not had them long enough to confirm this, they seem to steam up a lot less than previous models I've owned over the years. My only other comment would be to note, and this is fully pointed out in the description, the blue lenses reduce the incoming light more than the grey lens version - if your in any doubt about this I would go for the grey lenses. Nice one Bloc - at last a product I'm impressed with!

Great quality sun glasses.

I bought these because I believe Bloc do make quality Sun Glasses. I like them a lot. The reason I bought these glasses is because I have had other sun glasses and they were CR@P because they had these little pads that rest the bridge of the glasses on your nose.Which when they got hot and sweaty they tended to break off easily. Whereas the Bloc glasses don't have any nose pads. Alsothe sides of the glasses seem to be of a very good standard hinge wise. I think they will stand the test of time. While I was wearing the them I actually forgot I had them on. Because they don't change the colour of everything around you.They are good.

Superb glasses. Love them. Most sunglasses look out of place on me but these fit nice and snug to my face and look great. They also wrap around the face and let in very little light from the sides. Highly recommended.

My 2nd pair of these (lost the first). I love these for cycling and running. They provide a good close fit so you can't see any rim. They're pretty robust too and grip the side of the head well.

Thought I'd lost my blocs after changing cars, bought these as replacement, great product, great value, speedy delivery, and by the way I've found my other pair lol

I remember 10yrs ago having Bloc sunglasses and though them good well made product. These are thinner and not so great. They aren't sturdy enough to warrant the price tag

Glasses arrived promptly and were well packaged by Amazon along with some other items. The glasses are light and comfortable to wear. Although not up to the standard of my Oakleys, I didn't pay Oakley prices. these are my first Bloc glasses and I really like them. I will look at purchasing other Bloc glasses in the future.
